Was noisy, terrible hard bed, very dated and tired, could hear the other guests through the walls

I would've liked to have had a room on the ground floor as I am elderly, have reduced mobility and use a walking stick & there are no lifts in the hotel. Would've liked a more comfortable seat in my room.

The hotel is situated on a busy major road linking the south with the north of the River Thames and our room was at the front facing this main road. We were kept awake all night long by traffic roaring past. and it was impossible to get a good night's sleep The hotel did, as a matter of course, issue complimentary earplugs to its guests but these were of very limited help. It would have been more considerable to warn us in advance of the issue.

Personalmente non amo la moquette, ma capisco che sia molto utilizzata nelle strutture alberghiere.

Ground floor room on busy main road with no air con meant choice of either being too hot, or opening window to traffic. Complimentary earplugs are provided in the room.

Our room was on the ground floor and the close proximity of the tube line meant that we heard every tube passing under the building. The hotel did provide earplugs but it may disturb more sensitive travelers. The hotel is also on a busy road. The curtains in the room were insufficient to block out the early summer light.

A bin in the room would be handy rather than just the one in the toilet.

Noise! Extremely noisy location, the traffic is very bad as it's a busy main road and the underground trains could be heard all night.
Both of the bed mattresses we had were very hard indeed and caused pain in our back and hips. You really must change these for medium rather than firm

Es fehlen Steckdosen oder funktionierende USB Anschlüsse. Das Bett ist für 2 Personen zu klein.
Wir wollten kein Roomservice, wurde aber trotzdem gemacht, das tut nicht not.

The tube line ran right under my room! Noisy and I could feel the vibrations through the floor. I feel that I should have been made aware of this as I would not have booked had I known. If you book this hotel, make sure to request NOT being in the basement rooms. Very hard bed with very thin duvet.

В номере на нижнем этаже очень хорошо слышно проходящие поезда метро (но для желающих есть беруши). Розетки только британские, переходника в номере нет. Но это мелочи. Главная проблема - в плохой коммуникации. Классического ресепшна в гостинице нет, писать с вопросами надо в чат букинга, отвечают медленно. Есть номер телефона для срочных случаев, но у меня не получилось дозвониться туда по WhatsApp.

В день заезда не работало электричество, никто не предупредил, я кое-как нашел девушку которая сказала что "мой менеджер занимается этим". В итоге через час-два часть освещения заработало (но не розетки), к ночи уже работало всё. Было довольно критично, т.к. надо было зарядить телефон

Во второй день я вернулся в отель после 22 часов, и моя карта перестала работать и для входа в здание, и в мой номер. Судя по всему, карта была запрограммирована на одну ночь проживания, хотя оплачено было две. Вот здесь я и пытался дозвониться по emergency номеру, но безрезультатно. В итоге нашел сотрудницу, позвонив в дверной звонок у центральной двери, которая выдала мне новую карту

Считаю, что два крупных косяка за две ночи проживания - это чересчур. Советую отелю наладить коммуникацию с гостями, в том числе по срочным вопросам
