Perfectly fine hotel near Clapham Common
Pros:

Good location and a reasonable price

Cons:

Checking in could have been clearer. Rather than ringing the doorbell in the rain for several minutes it would have been good to know I had to call a number and then use a lockbox

Cheap but very well situated in Clapham. Get a quieter room around the back.
Pros:

Its location to the common, Marks and Spencer’s, and Clapham South Tube station.

Cons:

Right next door to a busy pub, especially on a Friday night.

Hot and noisy
Pros:

Location is excellent, very handy for London transport. Rooms and hotel were very clean. The hotel also sent some further instructions via email - these would have been helpful but they didn't arrive until we were travelling and therefore they were missed.

Cons:

The property is on a very busy main road and all rooms face the road. As the rooms have no air conditioning, they were very hot and extremely noisy. In addition, the on-site parking is VERY tight. There is only room for 3 vehicles. There is plenty of on-street parking nearby but that is limited to 4 hours paid between 9:30 and 5:30pm, otherwise free and unlimited.

No complaints to speak of
Pros:

Good neighborhood, close to a supermarket if you need something different and the staff was great and i had a really fun time talking with one of them. Thank you for the stay.

Sehr gute Lage - könnte sauberer sein
Pros:

Die Lage war sehr gut, die Tube und der Bus sind nur ein paar Minuten von der Unterkunft entfernt und man kommt sehr schnell in die Innenstadt. Es gibt viele Cafes und Restaurants in der Nähe. Personal ist nett und geht auf Wünsche ein. Saubere Oberflächen, gemütliches Bett. Es gab auch einen Ventilator im Zimmer, der bei der Hitze sehr nützlich war. Das Zimmer im EG war okay, wurde dennoch irgendwann auch ein bisschen warm. Ich weiß nicht, wie es auf den oberen Etagen war (wir waren während der Hitzewelle dort). Kleiner Kühlschrank, Schrank, Tee, Bügeleisen, Föhn, Handtücher und Bettzeugs waren vorhanden. Zimmer hat eine gute Größe für zwei Personen mit Gepäck. Self check-in.

Cons:

Da das Hotel an einer Hauptstraße liegt, ist es ziemlich laut. Man hört ebenfalls die Tube unter einem fahren, was ziemlich störend sein kann. Das Hotel hat aber netterweise Ohrstöpsel bereitgestellt. Um ehrlich zu sein waren wir am Abend ziemlich müde vom Tag, dennoch sollte man den Lärm anmerken. Das Bad roch sehr feucht und es gab einen Duschvorhang, welchen ich in einem Hotel nicht sehr hygienisch finde. Es gibt keine richtige Duschkabine, sodass das Bad nach dem Duschen ein wenig geflutet wird. Das Zimmer schien auf dem ersten Blick sehr sauber - zumindest die Oberflächen. Die weißen Socken waren leider komplett schmutzig und an den Kissen hingen auch noch dunkle Haare... Für einen kurzen City Trip als günstige Alternative okay.

It matched my needs for a short stay.
Pros:

It was located well, near all the facilities including the tube.
It was functional and clean.
There was a fan provided which was useful in the heat.

Cons:

However, there was a lot of noise from the road and I could hear the tube trains.
There was a nearby pub/ club which was very noisy at night.
The window looked out onto a brick wall, but this probably helped with noise.

Pros:

Convenient for the tube, pleasant buildings with nice front garden to sit in.

If booked early enough then it's possible to get rooms for a very good price!
