All good apart from fact that windows were left wide open and room very cold. A lot of small particles of dirt had been blown in
Staff apologetic. Room itself needs a new window. Stayed before and was a high standard. This is down to poor work by housekeepers. I would visit and stay again
Can't fault it, room was spacious, food was delicious, staff were very attentive
All staff were very helpful, especially Dan on our first night. Amazing location and beautiful property.
Breakfast was the best we’ve had in a long time too
V good hotel with good facilities. Friendly staff. Good evening meal. Breakfast option could be improved on simply with more food on the cooked breakfast. Great location with excellent views.
Our stay at the Mill at Conder Green was enjoyable - room was clean, comfortable and quiet, breakfast good and staff were friendly and courteous. We will definitely stay again
The second time that we have stayed there recently which tells it's own story. We really like it and look forward to another visit
An all-round great experience….. no sub- standards that we experienced and we were looked after by a friendly and efficient staff.
Were we to visit the area again, we would look no further than the Mill.
Well done in all respects.
Comfortable, friendly helpful staff. Good choice of food, great location.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Mill. A beautiful area well awa y from hustle and bustle. Our room was good, and the bed very comfortable. We look forward to visitng again.
It wasn't what we expected. The room wasn't anything like the one we thought we had booked from the photos. It was very simple rather than cosy. The bathroom wasn't good. The toilet had a leak. The shower curtain was too short and the bath itself has seen much better days.
On the plus side, the chap at reception stayed too let us in as we didn't realise check in finished so early. I just wish it had have been more clearly communicated though as we would have made sure we arrived earlier.
Not a bad place, but certainly not what you see in the pictures.
The hotel was great as was the staff and the food. It was just our room which was in need of refurbishment. Towels were rolled up at the bottom of the windows and you couldn't see out of the window which was a shame as we faced the canal. The bed was comfy though. We ran out of tea/coffee but no phone to ask for more so would have had to get dressed to get some. We were only there for one night so not a real problem and I would go again.
All very good apart from a sewerage type smell that appeared outside the property for 36 hours or so.
A lovely modern inn in the middle of the country with lovely views. Nicely presented and good food.
Excellent atmosphere friendly staff comfortable room and excellent breakfast
The hotel was very well presented with friendly and helpful staff. Being out in the country and next to the canal there were some lovely walks and great scenery. Our Merlin app was identifying many species of birds as well as the swans malards, moorhens, heron and even a kingfisher on the canal itself. Just 20 minutes from Lancaster and a little less to Morcombe Bay it was a wonderful place to stay.
Lovely location next to canal, for enjoyable evening walk and pleasant meal in restaurant on site . Upgraded room comfortable spacious and generous breakfast good value for money
Nice location right on the canal. Very good evening meal and breakfast. No air conditioning but fortunately the weather was cool. Bed a little firm but ok.
The hotel was stunning and the staff were amazing and the rooms were very spacious
great location beside canal lock - strolled along the towpath just after breakfast and immediately saw a swan and a heron right beside the lock.
but room furnishings were tired window blind broken.
Friendly reception staff. Room large. When trying to sit on the bed it would roll across the bedroom very unsafe for disabled people !
Could not see out of the window..
placed near the main door in the loft so heard everyone coming and going at 6 am ! Asked for a quiet room!
Breakfast was cold and had been sitting asked for fresh breakfast. I had to go
And find a server as nobody asked what we wanted for breakfast. The staff were not motivated at all.
Great food, wonderful service, great location, comfortable bed ,easy parking. Rooms need refurbishing. A bit pricey.
