Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return . We loved all the food and the staff are extremely good

Fantastic stay, would highly recommend.
Pros:

Beautiful period pub, the room was lovely and great value. The staff were great, and the food is like Michelin star quality!

Pros:

The restaurant was excellent

Cons:

Typical UK small rooms and stairs, but overall nice… so a bit challenging for the partner that was in a new plaster.

Fabulous venue with welcoming staff and AMAZING food.
Pros:

Just out of town but not too far. The ambience, furnishings and staff all made for a wonderful stay. We met and chatted to other guests who were frequent visitors and we could see why. Above all, the food was world class.

Cons:

Our bed was just a little too firm for our liking but I’d sleep on it again if it meant I could stay there.

Pros:

Good pub with rooms, lovely staff and good food.

Cons:

The room was cold in the evening and during the night however the radiator was very hot in the morning so not sure what the problem was.

It was a wonderful experience, right down to the smallest details
Pros:

It was a wonderful experience, right down to the smallest details — such as the staff remembering our drink orders. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rooms were lovely, and the entire stay at the hotel was an absolute pleasure from start to finish.

Cons:

All wonderful nothing I did not like.

Pros:

Still an excellent stop for the Ridgeway. Welcoming staff, excellent super and a first rate breakfast.
