Mediocre and dark ground floor. BUT check your bank account as £700 was “mistakenly” taken from my account, 3/5 days
Pros:

Comfortable bed and pillows.
Fridge available but it was leaking terribly.

Cons:

I discovered on day 2 of our stay that the hotel took £700 from my account without my permission and for no reason at all. It spoiled my day as that’s our spending money. I spoke with 3 different receptionists at different times, and all 3 said it was a mistake and they will reverse it but nothing happened. The night before our departure I went up to reception again, the guy behind reception incredibly rude and unprofessional, spoke of me as if I am rubbish to his manager whilst I was standing there. The manager came and wasn’t understanding but reversed it for the 4th time. No compensation for the terrible situation they’ve put me in for the 3 days they’ve left me without any spending money.

Great location. Rooms could use a little vamping up.
Pros:

The location is great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was large & spacious. The shower had great water pressure

Cons:

The room was small- which was fine- but there was no place to put my suitcase/clothes bc the mini bar took up most of the desk. It also smelled like mothballs.

Pros:

Location is the best I think the atmosphere was super.rooms were spacious unlike the manhattan hotels :) it was the cheapest of all manhattan hotels . House keeping kept the rooms super clean at all times it’s a quiet place but there is lots of action in the lobby and the gym and all the amenities r spectacular 😍😍I will def stay there again and recommend it to friends

Pros:

Great location and I really like the vibe, especially the lobby: Classic New York. The cafe has quality coffee!

Cons:

The hotel is a bit run down and hasn´t changed much since I stayed there 15 years ago. The elevators are very slow and if you live on a high floor, you'll have to wait for a while during rush hours. I also had a water leak in my room from the roof.

Glam and luxurious in the coolest way possible
Pros:

Love Ace Hotel! I came on a mother daughter trip and it is such a cool vibe. It feels glam and luxurious and the coolest way possible. 10/10 for vibes. We stayed in a king size room, it felt like our own studio apartment. Cleanliness 10/10. Nothing gave me the ick, it was spotless. Value wise, I would stay here again. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Shout out to Freddy at the front desk who really made us feel welcomed and at home.
