Great views
Pros:

Great location
Breakfast great choice and staff very attentive
TC who was maintenance also seemed to be covering house keeping and was very professional.
Macdonald in Sansibar made our stay what it should be for the price and level of hotel… many of the other staff can learn from him

Cons:

Reception staff on check in not very customer focused. Waited over 15 mins for second key cut. Told pool closed and another member of staff that came in said it was open. Asked for conditioner and was told in the room and then sent maintenance saying issue with air conditioning. No apologies, just sulky staff member.
Didn’t mention anything about restaurants or wine tasting
Menu on website different to what being served in Sansibar.
No real atmosphere about the place
We first stayed 15 years ago and stayed many times since and the hotel has become just a conference venue

Lost $1,900 because of their untruthfulness.
Cons:

After advising me explicitly that I can change my dates ("You may proceed with changing the dates. Kindly advise which dates you would like to move to so that we can check availability."), I gave them dates that were open, but then they reneged and I lost $1,900. Deplorable.

Do NOT expect to be treated like a paying customer and do NOT expect therm to be truthful.

Fabulous food, ambience, professional and friendly staff.
Pros:

The ambience of the gardens and hotel is fabulous. The staff are friendly and professional and the food is exceptional. A wonderful all round experience

Lovely staff - great rooms - food very good
Pros:

Excellent staff the luggage gents 1st class - as was Christopher in the restaurant- and John on reception - lovely views - bed soo comfortable

Cons:

Pool area a little tlc needed as tired and needs some soul.

Pros:

Große Hotelanlage mit Weingut ist sehr gepflegt und die Aussicht auf die Berge und den See sind wunderschön. Das Personal ist freundlich. Das Zimmer war schön groß und das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist teilweise in die Jahre gekommen. Es ist nichts richtig besonderes, außer die schöne Lage.
Das Personal arbeitet sehr langsam, kennt Gerichte und Informationen nicht und wirkt unkonzentriert. Auf Dauer hat uns das wirklich gestört. Es wurde mehrmals am Tag unaufgefordert ist das Zimmer reingekommen. Dadurch haben wir uns etwas unwohl gefühlt.
Ein Late Check Out ist so überteuert, dass wir es nicht gemacht haben. Im allgemeinen fanden wir den Preis nicht angemessen und zu teuer für die Leistung.
