Hotel Boulevard Nairobi, City Centre CBD

We stayed as a family of 3 in mid of February 2026 in a triple room facing the garden and the Nairobi River, when we first arrived in Nairobi before heading to the Masai Mara. It turned out to be the best choice! The sounds of birds chirping, lush greenery, and the gentle flow of the Nairobi River were so calming that we kept the sliding door open most of the time just to enjoy nature.

After returning from the Mara, we rebooked the same room and stayed another 4 nights in Nairobi. That’s how much we loved it.

The reception team was pleasant and very welcoming, especially Miss Ruth and Miss Beth. Kevin was extremely helpful and quickly solved our problem by providing a USB charger .

We decided to spend the first evening in Nairobi at the hotel restaurant and it was the best decision we made. The hot, delicious wood-fired pizza, freshly made and demonstrated was amazing! The carbonara was tasty, and it goes well with cold Kenyan beer . Special thanks to Miss Wangari for the lovely pizza making demonstration for my daughter . Such a sweet memory for us.

Room service mutton biryani was awesome too!

The triple room is spacious and perfect for our family . We were able to open two big suitcases comfortably on the floor.

The hotel location is very convenient, close to the CBD, the Kenya National Museum, and Snake Park. It’s just a quick Uber or “chap chap” ride to Sarit Centre to shop at Carrefour and get essentials.

A small area for improvement would be the toilet flush lever, which was a bit difficult to operate and it was hard to control the water faucet.

We will never forget the amazing team here especially to lovely girls Judy, Pison, Pauline, and Sharon , who greeted us warmly and took such good care of us during dinner and breakfast each day.

Also, we had the cutest companions during our stay , three cats! Cici, and two others whose names we didn’t know, so we named them Patches and Smokey. They made our stay even more special.

Thank you to the entire team for making our Nairobi stay so memorable. We would definitely return again!

Perfect! Friendly, welcoming, beautiful. Spotless room. Excellent service with reception that helps at any hour. A nice bar to sit at and meet interesting people from all over. Lovely garden with birds singing and cats greeting you. I love it here. Thank you to the great staff!

I dropped a star because the batteries in the room safe needed replacing , then when I wanted to get to bed and watch TV the remote was missing a battery too . We arrived after travelling 24 hours and only had 2-3 hours sleep .
Other than that itvis clean and comfortable . We ate a lovely Indian meal at the restaurant .
All the staff starting from the airport staff we had to deal with because my daughters luggage failed to arrive from Dubai , to the e sim staff at safaricom , the two young ladies in their early 20s who came to meet and greet from G adventures , hotel reception , restaurant staff were all so lovely - kind and generous with their time - polite and very eloquent - better spoken English frankly than alot of Brits to be honest . We instantly feel at home , relaxed and welcome without any pretensions - so looking forward to the rest of the trip !

Wonderful experience, very good hospitality, Manager Mr. Ashok was very helpful. All the staff of the hotel was very cooperative and helpful. Overall a wonderful experience. I recommend this hotel strongly.

I stayed at Boulevard on two separate occasions and was pleased with both.
The rooms are simple yet clean and large selection of options for the included breakfast.
Be mindful there is no lift, however porters can help you with luggage.
The staff are friendly and professional.

We had a lovely experience with Pauline. She was so accommodating and kind - we arrived after the kitchen had closed and she went above and beyond so that we could dine in the restaurant. The food was lovely also.

Very good hotel with lovely gardens and friendly service. Great food including a comprehensive breakfast buffet. Just be sure to take an Uber rather than walk out of the hotel as limited footpath.

Spacious and super clean rooms, perfect sitting and garden area. The food is top-notch. I'll surely come back and I highly recommend it.

Loved the slightly faded glory at the Boulevard. Veteran local journo who came here for a beer said it was like old Nairobi (in a good way). Room clean and tidy, breakfast pretty good, and housekeeper Luca very friendly. Easy walk into the CBD and ideal for anyone heading to the university. Will come back!

Nice restaurant and room. The service from all staff was lovely and it made the stay a found memory. Plenty off open space to relax within the hotel area.

A bit dated but fair for what you are paying. Gated with security, feels safe.

We had the best of our family moments at Boulevard. Great ambience, amazing staff( My credit goes to Pauline- waitress) she was so professional, knowledgeable, friendly, always there for us with a smile despite her busy schedule.
Tasty food especially the biting i.e chicken wings, fish fingers n samosa which we'd to keep adding more we couldn't get enough of them since they were so delicious 😋 👌
The mbuzi part of it killed the show, dry n wet fry with nan bread. Drinks also well prepared though took long preparation time we'd to keep following up to the Bar.
