Perfect Location. Excellent for groups.
Pros:

The location is perfect ! Right in the heart of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. It’s an ideal spot for all types of gatherings and made coordinating our group stay so much easier. Everyone in our group was happy with the experience. We did have a few minor incidents during our stay, but the front desk manager and staff were quick to respond and resolve everything professionally. Overall, a great stay at the Renaissance Raleigh North Hills Hotel.

Pros:

Wonderful front desk staff. Upon check in my bank had locked my card thinking I may have a fraudulent charge. The front desk staff was very patient and helpful. Room was huge!

Cons:

I had a small concern which was addressed immediately and staff gave me points on my loyalty card. I didn't ask for anything they immediately took care of the concern.

Bar closes at 11 pm on weekdays....but market was open.

We komen zeker terug.
Pros:

Timothy Prater was onze eerste aanspreekpunt in het hotel. Erg vriendelijk, meedenkend en zorgzaam. Hij heeft mooie suggesties met ons gedeeld qua eten en drinken. Ons voorzien van water als we de stad in gingen! Top vent.

The hotel is old and dusty.
Pros:

I have stayed here several times and it is “odd.” The hotel has a weird curved shape that is replicated throughout the rooms. You would think when they were shut during Covid they could have spruced things up, but they did not. There is a fern in a dusty glass fixture above the toilet that looks like it was never cleaned, and I have seen this in every room I have stayed in. The light fixtures are also dirty, but even if they were clean, the room would still be dark due to the dim lighting. The bartender is unfriendly. The views from the rooms are of the roof of the shopping mall or the highway. The chair at the desk is too tall and might remove your kneecaps. The bathroom still contains a tub with a weird body sprayer. I wish there was a way to tip the housekeeper through the app like at other Marriott hotels.

This hotel needs to get the gut-rehab, upgrade treatment that the rest of North Hills received.. Kane needs to pour some dough in this out-of-date mess asap. There are much newer, cleaner, and better hotels in the area.

The one good thing is the woman who manages the lounge runs a tidy ship and is very friendly.

Perfect for a getaway!
Pros:

Everything was absolutely amazing!!! I love love love this hotel and location!

Cons:

The only complaint I have is the loading and unloading zone was going through construction so I wasn’t able to unload at the door instead I had to park and bring everything up which I didn’t mind but I would have liked to unload at the front so I could carry on about my day without parking. But overall no biggie! I still enjoyed my stay!
