Hadn’t accessible room which was only all right. We were in room 812 in the corner seems to be where room service leave all the used crockery, this did smell of food, when after for this to be moved, it did happen.

It was my birthday and we were upgraded in our room choice which was a nice touch. Even though one of the lifts wasnt working, we had no problem or timing issues with the lift service and we were on the eighth floor
Staff was cheerful!
The room we were in had the worst mattress I have ever come across in any hotel that I have stayed in over the years. It wasn't just sagging, the mattress was actually broken from the middle. Both beds felt like they'd been purchased second hand - they creaked. I was almost scared that they would collapse at some point during the night. Poor show for Marriot!
