The TV streaming is not working
The staff are very friendly and helpful. I really felt welcomed and cared for by all the staff members we interacted with.
The rooms are very tired, the bathrooms are very old and the bed was a bit past its use by.
The restaurant is always worth a visit. I like the location, on site parking, ease of access, lift or stairs depending on how energetic I feel, that the staff will have a laugh with you.
I was in room 250. There is a stain on the bathroom floor that was there when I stayed in the same room last year. Also the one light switch operates the lights in both rooms so you can't turn of one light to save electricity.
Location,
Atrium
Rooms a little tired
Lovely room and location. Amazing in door garden. Good on-site free parking available.

Fave hotel in Canberra! Love the atrium area
Very reasonable price
Breakfast is so good!
Location and price were the reasons I stayed there. I also selected this location as it was my choice over the past 15 years to stay there; however, for the first time I was disappointed.
Checking in, I was made to wait even though there were two team members present...I had asked for a quiet room away from the elevator only to be placed next to the common laundry, which was very disappointing. I did not ask to be moved, so I didn't give them the option to help... but I did make it clear that I needed a quiet room.
Great place! Secure parking, tramline across the road. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Room was large, comfortable and warm! Very retro
I booked 3 atrium king rooms, I found out one room as much much bigger than the other rooms. We wrre in 225,226, and 227. I called receptionist to confirm if we are on the king atrium room and he said yes, i asked if all the king atrium rooms have a standard size and are all the same and he said yes. I then proceeded to tell him that one room was larger than the others and he just said I didnt know about that, hung up and when I tried to call back never answered the phone. This is the same receptionist that refused us to eat in the lobby because it doesnt look good. The mugs and glasses were dusty and the sink benches and tissue holder as well. Room 227 has been made up but the other two rooms I booked was not even cleaned even though there was a no disturb sign.
The receptionist in the morning around 6:30am saturday told me we can heat our food in the microwave and when I asked if we can eat in the atrium with that food he said yes. So when we cane back at night to hear the food, I talked to another receptionist around 10:30pm and he said no, even though I told him the other receptionist said otherwise. I then said can we eat here in the lobby and he said "no, it doesnt really look good. It is the lobby" so he told us to eat in what seems to be an office instead because the hotel's laptop was there. Also the way they talk is rude except for the receptionist in the morning.
Good value for stay , nice breakfast
