The standard of accommodation was very disappointing for the price charged for the the room.
Pros:

The breakfast was fully up to expectations. I also found it convenient to eat there at night.

Cons:

I was in Room 209. The sink had serious surface cracks in it after some heavy item had been dropped on it. The fawcet was antedeluvian and needs to be replaced as does the type of sink which has serious 'splash back' issues when the the tap was turned on.

When I tried to moderate the cold water in the shower, the tap came off in my hand!

The marble-effect tiles had some serious brown stains which would require careful scrubbing to clean them properly. There was also some serious bottle-shaped staining and marking the floor by the door;

The lighting in the bedroom was dim which is no good for me. It took me some time to find all the light switches. I definitely did not like the small light switches at waist level. What century are we talking about?

Overall, my experience in this room was very disappointing and not to my expectation for what I have been charged. Hotels of this caliber are getting away with murder if they don't put right all the features I have described. Consumers are absolute mugs to put up with standards of accommodation such as I have described.
