Very accommodating and beautiful property.
Just a suggestion- maybe more towel hooks in the bathroom. For a family of four we had to get creative.
The Omni at Amelia Island was wonderful. Excellent food, friendly staff and great service. The pools were excellent and great beach access.
We just spent the last 4 days at Omni Amelia Island for a work trip and had an incredible time. Our room and the grounds were very clean and comfortable. We loved making use of our balcony - drinking coffee outside every day and relaxing before dinner. We ate at the Surfcaster once and had their food and drinks by the pool - shout out the our server Cassie for both days. Staff was incredibly helpful and kind.
We have never been to Amelia Island and we were pleasantly surprised. There are a few local beach bars up the main road and a grocery store nearby. The Omni is on a great spot on the beach - close to the ocean - and the vast pool area was perfect for relaxing. The food was excellent and prices were reasonable for a hotel resort like this. There are several restaurants on property within short walks but oddly some of the more 'casual' ones aren't open until 4 p.m.
Aw man- this was our third trip here and we were so excited. We love this place so much. Overall, we had a great time but we had three really bad meals. I’m so disappointed. The restaurants on site seem to have gone way downhill. Marche Burette is no where near the quality it used to be and the prices have gone up. The new restaurant, Nonna Mia, is very nice but two of our dishes were extremely bland. Funny enough, our server tried to warn us that those dishes weren’t very good and suggested we might add salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese. This was very odd for such an expensive restaurant. Our last night, we ate at Falcon’s Nest. They forgot to add us to the wait list so we waited for 30 min without knowing we weren’t advancing in the cue. Once we figured that out, the hostess did advance us to the front of the wait and we got a table within 15 min. Once seated, our waitress was lovely but she forgot to put in my drink order. 30 min later, the drink arrived and it was terrible. I asked for a replacement which I never received. Our chicken wings were under cooked and pink. And my burger was unappetizing. Our waitress took the burger and my drink off the bill which was very nice but it was really not a great meal. We took our kids for ice cream at Natural Slice. The self serve station was an absolute mess with toppings and melted ice cream all over the counters and floor. I cannot express how different this experience was from our past two trips! Of course, we loved the beach and the pool and the beautiful property so not a wasted trip but I would be hesitant to return given the food. I am so bummed!
Absolutely wonderful stay - big shout out to one member of staff Sarah Rojas who works in the pool area and went above and beyond with her customer service. Congrats Omni. You did a great job!
The adult pool was warm and relaxing. What made my visit great was our service. Fanni was awesome!! She went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time. I highly recommend her!!
The staff is very attentive and polite. The beach is beautiful. The property could use some refreshing. The caulk was cracked in the bathtub and scuffs on the furniture in our suite. We paid for a higher floor room, but were given a third floor room. They did refund the difference, but it was very disappointing.
The property is lovely. My room decor was a little tired. Several TV channels were unavailable due to weak signal.
The overall food quality was good. However, for a 1000+ person conference, I thought Food and Beverage was unprepared. This is a boozy conference, and you had restaurants literally run out of wine.
Had a wonderful time at this beautiful resort. Rochelle A was particularly helpful on a number of occasions.
Omni on Amelia Island provides the perfect gateway for us whenever we need a break from our daily routine. We love their clean spacious rooms, the dining experience, the beach and beautiful pool. Their staff are professional and friendly, always going above and beyond. Although it is our 5th or 6th visit, we look forward to another stay.
We had booked a 2-night stay at a villa, and the first night we had a broken AC. When we reported it, we were treated with respect, and the staff really made us feel special. The staff went out of their way to make up for our first night, and we were moved into a new room at the hotel proper. The staff were so helpful and so friendly.
Terrific family resort. We stayed in a villa in Captain’s Court. Quick walking access to beach, hotel and pool. Clean, comfortable and included a kitchen and washer/dryer. Only challenge was unloading car and climbing the stairs from the parking lot. Grocery (Harris Teeter) store is 10 mins away if you want to buy essentials for meals. Restaurants on property were really good but there are great options 20 mins away in Fernandino Beach. Golf, tennis and other activities were easily accessible and reasonably priced for a resort. Only knock on the experience was having to spend time sorting out the resort credits that we bought in advance. Front desk was awesome in working it out, but I should not have had to ask. Great place- hope to return at some point.
I have a teenage son with autism and the crew at Natural Slice and Mellow Yellow were fantastic! We felt very welcomed and my son loved going there. He went almost every day for some frozen yogurt. Thank you to the Natural Slice crew, you all are the best!
I have stayed at over 200+ hotels mixed between personal and professional travel. While the service was strong at the hotel, I take serious issue with the business model. I have never felt so 'nickle-and-dimed' in my life. I booked the Omni for the abundance of amenities, however every amenity comes with a fee. $25 for a bike rental for an hour, $30 for a tennis court rental (no pro just hitting with my wife, $65 for beach chairs.... and so on. It's inexcusable when you are paying $700+ a night. The hotel is also in need of a serious renovation with outdated rooms and overall facilities.
We love the Omni. Everything you need is there. This is our 3rd time staying there. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Can not beat the location. So many good restaurants available on site. And we loved the addition of the coffee shop, Palmetto Press.
Incredible experience at the Omni Amelia Island! No need to leave the resort, it has everything you need. Fantastic service, food, and atmosphere. Our room was spacious with an incredible view! Deborah at the lobby bar was the best. She took great care of us. Loved the fish tacos at Surfcaster and had an amazing dinner at Nonna Mia celebrating my husband's birthday. Hospitality across the board was top notch! First time but definitely wont be our last
A beautiful facility not taken full advantage of as we traveled to The Players Championship. Amelia Island is a great destination we recommend without hesitation. Would return anytime.
