Great experience and service. Top notch all around. All waitress/waiters we had on site were very helpful and accommodating. Check in and check out were smooth. Pool and beach were great for my 3- and 6-year-olds. Valet had our car ready quickly each time we requested it. We will be back again as family.
Had an absolutely wonderful time at the Omni Hotel and Resort. It was very nice, but not stuffy, which is what we were looking for in our last-minute trip. Very family friendly for those wanting to bring children, though we traveled as a couple. Enjoyed the food, drinks, and service everywhere we went. Never left the property during our three-night stay. Enjoyed use of the bicycles, which was a fun way to explore the resort. Paid for the two chairs/umbrella on the beach, which came with water bottles, which was nice. Delicious pina coladas and fish tacos from the poolside restaurant. Delicious BBQ at Falcon's Nest. 10/10 visit!
We celebrated our anniversary here. Absolutely loved our experience. The staff at the hotel, restaurants, golf courses are exceptional in their friendliness, helpfulness and accommodation. The hotel is beautifully decorated and kept in good shape. The golf course is beyond exceptional… absolutely beautiful and perfectly maintained. There are a variety of food options. We enjoyed all our meals. Only minor complaint is that a couple of their restaurants do not have a way to get to them without walking outside. This is fine, but the walkways to them do not have overhead covers. So if it’s raining, you have to walk in the rain or get an umbrella.
Amelia island is a nice place to stay and relax. Top it off with staying at the Omni and you have a place to play and relax. We had issues with our room and they called me while I was at dinner and they transferred us to a Villa. I wasn’t expecting to go to a villa, but it worked out.
My name is Mary Scheid, we stayed at the Omni,
Colin whelon is a employee for Omni
He was working at the pool and a storm was coming he was clearing the deck, picking up so many towels pulling the full bins, he was amazing and such a hard worker, getting the cabanas fixed ,grabbing the fans, picking up stuff left at the pool.
I finally went to ask him his name
I had a card and had him write it down I hope I got the last name right.
I really would like him to be recognized and make employee of the month….
Lovely event at the Omni Amelia Island! Recently renovated rooms, fresh lobby, clean pool area and delicious restaurants. We hated to pack the car and come home!
No renovations as we were emailed that we saw. Poor housekeeping to include did not speak English and could not understand our needs. Customer service desk needs more employees to assist guests. Rain came in under our doorway and into the corner of our bathroom wall along side the corridor. Definitely way less impressed than our last year's visit.
The resort is stunning, every detail is perfection. The shuttle is convenient to get around the resort , running constantly. We always enjoy eating at March Burette during the Steak Out nights. We had a wonderful waitress, Jessica Y, who went above and beyond. She talked with us, made sure we had everything we needed, and even gave us to go waters.
This is a very large Disney scale resort. It is hugh. Shuttle service is excellent. Main hotel requires long walks to get to on site restaurants. Many small children when we were there.
This is a beautiful resort. It is on the ocean with all rooms at the hotel looking out to the ocean. The hotel rooms are lovely. It has just been renovated. Some rooms look out over the beautiful pool area. The property has many activities such as golf and kayaking. Oak Marsh was an exceptional golf course. The staff was very hospitable. We enjoyed our stay so much that are returning for our anniversary .
My wife and I had excellent service from Arayni Gibson. She was very polite and genuine. It’s good to see young people with a great attitude and with people skills. She’s an asset to your company.
we had a lovely lunch thanks to Jessica!
Overall we loved staying at the Omni resort on Amelia Island. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a few issues with the room (light bulbs, sink), but the staff had the items repaired within a few hours. Bob's Steak House and the coffee/snack shop Palmetto Press were great. If there is any negative I would say the room and facilities seem just slightly worn and dated. This was our second time (2 years in a row) and we have already booked a villa (4 BR) at the Omni for next summer to have our adult children and grandchildren to stay with us and enjoy all the amenities, the pools and the beach.
We loved our stay here! Beach, pools, tennis and more. A highlight was our ecobike tour. Mason was an amazing guide and showed us parts of the Omni property we never would have seen , The Sunken Forest and Oak Marsh were beautiful . He pointed out birds, trees and wildlife along the way , Also a big shoutout to Tanesha at the tennis center who on my first day arranged all these fun activities for us . These included tennis clinics, aqua class, ecobike tour and dining reservations. All staff we encountered were so friendly. We enjoyed and can't wait to return . So relaxing too!
Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful beach location, but property upkeep and maintenance is lacking. Food and service in the three restaurants we visited were ok, but the cookies and ice cream were totally tasteless. Our room was not cleaned properly and the shower tile needed regrouting.
This was our fourth year visiting this location for our annual vacation. We love the atmosphere at the resort. It is laid back, relaxing and fantastic for the beach access. The food quality has improved over the past few years with better consistency and they've added covered trays for pool and beach dining which keeps the wildlife activity down allowing you to enjoy your meals without interruption. Our 11 year old son loved the pace of the island in general, and we enjoyed the great food options both at the resort and close by. It's our home away from home now for our family outings and I highly recommend the Omni Hotels & Resorts to anyone that hasn't tried them yet.
Location - beach and the pools
I thought it was a little expensive
My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary and had the most relaxing time! The views were gorgeous and the room and amenities were excellent! Shout out to Charlotte who took amazing care of us and made our stay so special! We will definitely be back in the future!
After an unacceptable experience at one of the on-site Villas, we originally booked for our family vacation, we were taken care of quickly and efficiently by Jamie, Front Desk Ass't Manager. We were given alternative accommodations which exceeded our expectations. The hotel facilities are wonderful with plenty to keep our 3-generation family happy and entertained. Loved the "adult only" pool as well as the large family pool and the on-going activities keeping the kids entertained. Beach access was a breeze and loved the free shuttle around the property. We made use of the on-site restaurants, shopping and mini golf. Valet very efficient but felt the $40/night fee a bit high so we used the self-parking option at $25/night especially since there was little reason to leave the resort. A good time was had by all!
