Stair access to room only
Very noisy. Woken every morning (3) by the garbage truck emptying the bins at the back of the complex. Not what you want when your on holidays
Room space is big, water supply is good. Location is good and convenient for joining day trip as a pick up point.
Tap is hard to turn
Good location, 15-minute walk to restaurants and cafes, 5-minute drive. Spacious room with everything you need. King-size bed. Excellent, quiet area of Launceston. Matthew at the reception, was helpful and kind during our check in.
Housekeeping in the rooms surrounding us started very early, between 7 and 8:30 in the morning. A bit too noisy and not mindful of the people who were trying to rest.
For those aren’t familiar with Launceston, you might need to know that it's a city built on hills. This hotel offers ample free parking, which was much appreciated. Just a bit inconvenient given the steepness of the road if you have accessibility issues or are unfamiliar with the rental cars. However, there are public parking lots on the main road, so it's not a big problem.
Very central position. Clean, quiet and good value for money. Mathew was very helpful.
Car park was a bit tricky with a 4WD.
Inexpensive
Nothing much
Great location
The advertised photos did not match the actual property. It wasn’t what we had in mind. We were looking for a more up market and comfortable room
Matt the host
On our first stay of 2 nights the room was very dated although everything was neat and clean.
The room was very dated & the car parking situation was horrendous. Elderly people should be advised to look elsewhere.
The reception was very cheerful and helpful
The only downfall was the car park and how steep it was
Location and room and rails on steep slopes
Steep driveway - difficult for elderly
Secure location with plenty of parking. Vehicles not easily visible from the street. Good choice of restaurants within 10-15 minutes walk.
Very steep site and access ramps. Older style, three story motel. If you are in a top floor room and have a lot of gear, you have to lug it all up and down stairs.
The Coach House was great value for money, within walking distance to the shops. Staff were very friendly especially Mathew nothing was too much trouble for him. Gave us lots of places to see and eat highly recommend this motel.
Pool close by
Slipped parking
Close walking distance to CBD and eateries.
We were very appreciative that Matt, the manager, came in on his day off, to fix a noisy fan.
