Not what we were expecting but we were only staying one night.
Pros:

The price. Clean and comfortable beds.

Cons:

There was an unsafe unmarked step inside the door which was a hazard. The family room was tiny, dreary, up 4 flights of stairs, very dated bathroom.

We were able to get a comfortable room for 4 adults in central Launceston, for a reasonable price.

Location fabulous! Deluxe Queen rooms very nicely decorated with a great view. Very affordable.

Pros:

location, i walked into the CBD for dinner

Cons:

Bed ok for me, maybe not for a fussy traveller. I used the doona off the small bed also, as there was not enough bedding on the main bed

Looking forward to staying again
Pros:

The room was extremely spacious and comfortable.
I had great views over city Park and the river.
A short walk into town.
Matt at the front desk was very helpful on check in and with giving recommendations on places to eat.

I've read a few reviews complaining about how steep it is- thats Tasmania and thats the beauty of the state.
