Candlewood Suites Springfield North, an IHG Hotel

Easy parking, great location, clean, huge room and the warmest welcome. We were so impressed with this lovely hotel.
You get a kitchen as well as a generous sleeping area, and there’s even a mini shop selling treats as well as free coffee and fruit.
A kind and friendly welcome and goodbye made it extra special. I wish all accommodations were this friendly.

I stayed at this hotel while I was I. Town for a wedding. After checking in, we left to go to dinner and to rehearsal. When we got back at 11 pm we were unable to get into our room. Went downstairs to get a new key but that didn’t work either. The person on duty came up and tried to open it. Could not. Calls were made to the manager and finally someone from maintenance showed up. Apparently there was some sort of computer issue with the lock. An hour and a half later they got the door open but no guarantee that we food get out. They finally moved us to a different room……after midnight and after having unpacked all of our luggage. They promised 5k points for the inconvenience but for nothing. Do not recommend.

The service from the staff was a 10/10, the room cleanliness was a 10/10, I have nothing to say but positive things about my stay at this hotel, it was BY FAR the best hotel experience I've had since I started traveling.

Amazing location. Just like a small apartment. I wish I was in town for more than one night.

Clean, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, convenient location, friendly staff, great for pets.

Room was perfect!! Totally soundproof as well considering my three year old isn’t exactly quiet lol. Would definitely stay here again.! Front desk staff was wonderful, super nice, and great attitudes!

Went for WWE event and the staff here was great. Very nice. Hallways were clean and the dinning options literally are in the parking lot. Great place to stay!

This was our third stay at this location and we’ve had an A experience each time.

It was not set up for in room meals or lighting for makeup and dressing. The full length mirror was ill placed. The coffee maker was too big for the service area and had to be pulled almost off counter to set up and use. Just expected more suitability for long term stay. Otherwise was great

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was all very friendly and the room was very clean

Customer service was top tier. Clerk stated that they dont normally rent to locals due problems in the past. But took care of me and my family due to extreme temperature that caused my family to have no heat and no water due to busted pipes. My family and I were so thankful.

Room was clean and comfortable. Great location for the work assignment I had in Springfield. Surprised that I had to pay for breakfast. The last Candlewood had complimentary breakfast, but I still really enjoyed the stay.

Prepaid pet friendly as i have several times before. Check in was fine, asked for card incase theres any incidentals as usual (which there were not). The next morning noticed I had a $75 change to my credit card. Mentioned it at check out, thinking i would be told it was just a hold and would be credited back, but the guy said it was the 1 night pet fee....which would have brought my total to $175 for one night which is ridiculous, especially since they dont even have a breakfast included. He asked " didn't they tell you about the pet fee and charging your card when you checked in" I said no, I would have never paid that much to stay at this very average location. He just said oh, ill have to talk to them about that. Illegally charging my credit card without permission, and that's all i got. Will not be staying at an IHG property again

The beds and pillows were so comfortable!! I have a very hard time sleeping in hotels normally, but not at your hotel! Staff was friendly we had a great stay thank you! Will be using Candlewood again in the future

I called the corporate office about this hotel. Over-large side chairs block us from getting out of the bed. on one side. Overly noise refrigerator had to be unplugged. We paid for the room until noon the next day but the hotel had housekeepers pounding on the door (that had no privacy signs) early the next day to wake is up and try to get us out. Justin, the manger, blamed it
on the housekeeper but I think it was a hotel tactic to get into the room as early as they could. If you want a pleasant stay, go somewhere else.
