The location is great for exploring Manhattan without being in the chaos of Times Square. It’s on the opposite side of the block of the Empire State Building. A subway entrance just 20 meters away. There’s also a 24-hour gym, which is perfect for an early morning or late-night run.

This hotel is amazing! Perfect location near Times Square, Broadway, Bryant Park, Fifth Avenue, yet quiet and relaxing still. It's also near Penn train station and 34st subways which make it convenient for traveling around. The view from our room (floor 26) was incredible, with a view of the Empire State Building and the rooms are a really good size. Beds super comfy, wardrobe space and shelves, big tv and shower. Reception staff were really helpful, and arranged a flat rate car service for us to JFK ($85). We would definitely book here again if we return to NY - perfect place for our honeymoon and highly recommend!

I had a very pleasant stay at the Hilton Garden Inn West New York. The location was perfect — very convenient and with great access to everything, while still feeling calm and comfortable.

The room was clean and cozy, and I felt at ease right away. The view was especially beautiful and definitely a highlight of my stay.

The staff was friendly, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Overall, a great experience — I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed here in Jan '25 & again in Jan'26 as I really enjoyed it. The location is really perfect. Herald Square Subway, literally almost directly out the front door of the hotel, is a major subway stop.. So there are a lot of different lines and routes seamlessly connecting uptown or downtown or to the boroughs. All the main sights and attractions of Midtown and Times Square are only a few blocks / short walk away.. You coudn't want for a better location.

I think this hotel is great value out of the Hilton brand hotels in NYC. The rooms are a good size by Manhattan standards, well appointed and there are nice Manhattan views from the hotel on either side. Rooms are well appointed with microwave, coffee maker, good TVs on which you can log into and use your streaming services, nice bathrooms. So you get a very comfortable stay, have a nice outlook, and room to move at a much better price than many hotels in Times Square etc.

I found all the staff great on both my stays, everyone is friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean, and the lobby shop has a good range, is convenient, and wasn't too expensive. As a Diamond guest I had a credit applied daily to my lobby shop purchases. Lift system here is appropriate for thehotel size and lift wait times /flow was good (often a headache in a lot of Manhattan hotels!)

I've stayed in quite a lot of the various Hilton chain hotels in various locations and brands / price points in NYC and this is one of my overall favourites and I'll be back on my next trip to NYC for sure.

I quite like this part of Manhattan and find the streets around here interesting and it is so easy to get everywhere whether on foot or by Subway : ) Lots of various dining options around too.

The Hotel and the room were perfectly fine, with a microwave, a fridge, a nice view and close to all the attractions of the midtown around Time Square, Broadway, Madison Square Garden, etc.
