Pros:

This is an exceptional hotel in a fantastic location. If we had known how good this hotel is we would have stayed 2 nights to fully appreciate the history of this hotel and its location

Nice place for a night. Street noise and thin walls would be rough for longer stay.
Pros:

Cool historic hotel in downtown Durango. Beautiful old lobby. Room was small but comfortable, nicely upgraded. Included breakfast was ample with some hot items. Parking on site.

Cons:

Like many older hotels the walls are thin, not much they can do about that. Could hear every word of my neighbor's lengthy phone calls. No amenities to speak of in the room (coffee maker, fridge etc.).

Pros:

Neat old hotel right in the middle of downtown town. Great location and fabulous staff! Chandler knew everything about the history of the hotel and was great filling us in upon arrival. Caleb was very attentive as well. Great staff!

Elegant, room and comfortable antique room!
Pros:

The room was large, with beautiful antique furniture and a view of Main Street. The room was very clean and neat.

Cons:

The only problem we had was trying to make the heat work to our satisfaction and the ceiling fan came on for no apparent reason. W didn't worry about it too long

Pros:

Great location right in the heart of Durango. Fantastic staff and an atmosphere that felt like traveling back in time. Would recommend for any interested in history.

Cons:

My only real issues are because of the building's age. The rooms are a little small, but the good really outweighs the bad here.
