Nice location, room size was good, they kindly left us a plate with fruit for a special occassion.
A lot of noise during the night, it sounded like furniture was being moved around and making a lot of banging, which woke us up countless times, breakfast was really poor, poorly cooked eggs and a very bare buffet, staff inattentive for ordering. For the price of the room, midweek, our stay fell short and we would not return.

Room was cold. Lack of spare bed covers. Room rate expensive. Noisy - both external and from rooms nearby.
The location is incredible and the facilities are perfect. We had breakfast in the Prom restaurant and went to the Blackrock Bar for a drink which were both lovely and very reasonable. The Salthill area is beautiful and the location gives you the option to either walk into Galway town or stay by the seaside.
The jacuzzi and steam/sauna could have been cleaner but it didn’t put us off using it. I added some extras to my booking and rang the day before to cancel as we no longer wanted them. When I arrived they had still been put in the room and the receptionist was particularly sharp when I told her I had cancelled these - now I don’t mind when a little mistake is made but I felt like I was being given into trouble which tarnished the end of our stay slightly.

Loved the location & friendly staff. The seafood chowder & pizzas are terrific!!
Loved being by the water but the highway in front of the hotel gets very busy at times. Plan your walk on the promenade accordingly & be patient when crossing.
The staff were exceptional , so friendly and helpful , food was so good .

Room was cold in mid June and had no installed radiators. The only heating option was a mobile electrical heater which was underpowered for the size of the room. Furnishings were old and worn out. Frequent works/drilling noise around the room on both days. Coffee at breakfast lukewarm. Hotel staff uninterested and not particularly friendly.
