Beautiful hotel in stunning Salthill
Pros:

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Amazing breakfast. Great vegetarian options, too. Car park on site (€5 per day). Room well stocked with water and tea / coffee.

Cons:

The check-in person wasn't very friendly, which surprised us. No room service is available after 9 pm, which we didn't see on the website. Would have been good to know as we were travelling all day and would have stopped on route or brought food with us.

Friendly staff, pleasant hotel, gorgeous view.
Pros:

Staff were so friendly.
Didnt use the gym/ pool or facilities.
I really loved the juice at breakfast time where they added ginger and carrot juice.

Cons:

I had to get a new room, because the first room smelled like strong fumes -My friend and I both work in Construction so we figured out that the smell is from the chairs in the newer refurbished rooms. It is quite a toxic smell, so I asked to be moved. The receptionist offered the room next door, but when we checked it- it had the same problem as it looked like it was refurbished during the same period. Then I was offered a room on a different floor - it had the same new chairs but the smell was a lot less strong - perhaps the new chairs are all over the hotel. Perhaps the room had settled for longer. Anyway - although the chairs still smelled, it was bearable in the last room.

Pros:

Great Hotel, better than we were expecting, definitely go back, Breakfast was brilliant

Cons:

The door staff on the bar in the evening, it was as though we were being watched all the time, one of our guests was threatened of being thrown out for laughing to much in the bar.
