Staff friendly, super welcoming and responsive. Central location

Can't really say anything bad about this place, the staff were great like staying with an old friend. The room was beautiful, clean, easy to manage. Great shower with good water pressure. Breakfast was simple and tasty. There were cookies!! Put out daily!! This hotel is a leisurely 10-minute walk (or a determined 7-minute walk) to Gondola 1 and is in the midst of the best dining in Vail. My wife and I had a dream-like stay here even as the skiing (in early spring - April, 2026) was not up to usual Vail standards. We made up for it by eating and shopping our way through this charming ski village. Honestly, everyone we talked to about Sitzmark in our various chats with restaurant and bar patrons were enthusiastic about the place, so it wasn't just us. We will be repeat customers when we come back to Colorado. Book this place with no regrets.

Extremely excellent service. Wayne in reception was amazing. Maritza in the kitchen was very attentive.
The hotel has a continental breakfast every morning with freshly baked pastries. They have a small store with goodies. The best part you are in the middle of the village with only 3 min walk to Gondola 1

Every moment in this perfectly situated hotel was pleasurable. The amenities for ski storage and boot warmers were excellent. The nice breakfast they laid out every morning hit the spot. Everything you would need to hit the slopes with the energy you need.
When you come back they have a beautiful sunny room where you can relax by a fire and enjoy a nice cocktail
or glass of wine. Afterwards as you make your way back to your room they have the most delicious cookies which have been perfectly warmed to achieve maximum enjoyment.
The rooms are very well appointed and offer everything you’d expect. Hot tub is large and the heated pool is a fantastic place to unwind. The room we stayed in had great views of Gore Creek from the perfectly sized balconies.
We’ve stayed in a dozen places in Vail. We will only stay here going forward. Incredible experience.

We had a wonderful stay at The Sitzmark! We received very attentive service by all employees but especially from Luis! We loved the hot tub, pool, and breakfast! We will absolutely return!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the Sitzmark Hotel in Vail. If this is the only review you read, please do not give this greedy establishment any money!

I booked a stay months in advance and paid a $500 deposit. Unfortunately, my fiancé and I recently broke up and I can no longer afford this trip. I contacted the hotel well ahead of time to cancel and asked for my deposit back, but they refused — even though they will absolutely be able to rebook the room.
Daniel, the manager, was rude and completely lacked any empathy for my situation. I also tried reaching out to the general manager, Ben, multiple times and he has refused to call me back or respond at all.

This hotel is more concerned with greed than customer service. Life happens, and any reasonable business would work with a guest who is canceling months in advance due to unexpected personal hardship.

I strongly advise people not to book here unless you’re willing to risk losing hundreds of dollars no matter what happens.

The location and room were amazing, but most of all, the staff here was world class!! It was easy to park, walk to gondola one, you’re in the heart of all the restaurants and shopping.

Great location. In the heart of the village. Breakfast could be more than fruit, yogurt and croissants. Rooms are renovated and comfortable. Lobby and breakfast area is small but ok. Staff helpful.

This was a fantastic find, great hotel. Super ambiance, recently renovated and they did a fantastic job! So nice. Rooftop pool and hot tub, continental breakfast, and we really enjoyed this breakfast. Front end staff very friendly and helpful, owner of hotel was on site and a super guy! Garage parking is great, even fit my 1500 Silverado. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to all. Thank you Sitzmark from Ed, Betsy and Penny.

Room was great and location is ideal! Concert in front on Fridays was killer!!!
