I booked the Oriental Aromatic Hammam for my birthday and my the person that did my treatment was was Hawanna (I might be spelling her name wrong)

This is the first time coming to the Bentley hotel and having Hammam treatment. Sidenote, I have done it plenty of times aboard and in the UK so I know what to expect.. firstly let me start with my treatment was great. Everything was explained. based on the bad reviews here I bought myself bottled the water and other bits and pieces just in case but all of it was unnecessary. The facilities were clean and actually very lovely marble everywhere definitely opulence in the hotel and the room where the treatment that happens is all marble. I would say that it needs a bit of refurbishment but I can’t complain at all because the treatment was very good.

Came here to The Bentley Hotel for afternoon tea with a friend. This is a beautiful hotel, and the staff are so friendly. The afternoon tea was delicious. Freshly made sandwiches and excellent cakes all made here. The scones were warm and fluffy. Bala, the lady who looked after us was friendly and helpful and very attentive. We weren’t hurried and it was very relaxing afternoon. A lovely afternoon and I’d recommend this to anyone.

Afternoon tea at The Bentley Hotel was delicious, a lovely selection of sandwiches, gorgeous cakes; especially the passion fruit cheese cake, warm scones and a bottomless tea pot. All served to us by Bala our waitress for who nothing was too much trouble. A perfect afternoon escape from the heat outside.

We booked an afternoon tea experience at the Bentley Hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and how well we were attended to.

To start off, The Bentley Hotel is in a convenient area nearby the V&A museum, where we previously were. We weren’t intimidated by our lower class background and our host Bansri was lovely and assisted us with the process in such an incredibly elegant and efficient manner. The atmosphere is very peaceful with little noise accompanied by the melodic piano ambiance.

The food we were given consisted of a variety of sandwiches, high quality patisseries and scones along with a wide selection of tea. Each was well presented, very tasty yet surprisingly filling! The accommodation also offers take away bags if needed.

It goes without saying that the cleanliness is exceptional all around including the grand bathrooms that were available.

We can highly recommend this experience, it is our first afternoon tea experience here but it certainly will not be our last. Entirely worth its value across all age demographics.

Beautiful elegant building. Staff were polite but so slow and had forgotten to take the dirty plates while still bring out new food. The cakes were semi frozen in the middle from the deep freeze. I didn't enjoy the experience due to the poor disorganised service and frozen cakes.

Had an afternoon tea to celebrate a friend's birthday. Place was nice and service was good. Thank you to our server Bala and Alex the concierge.

She’s an old girl now, and while she’s still got plenty of charm, she’s definitely showing her age.

There was a time when staying here felt like discovering one of London’s best-kept secrets – luxury at bargain-basement prices. Sadly, those days have gone. The rates have steadily climbed to the point where they’re now simply… what the hotel is actually worth. Nothing more.

The place is crying out for a full refurbishment. The staff, however, remain its greatest asset – genuinely lovely, friendly and always eager to help. The rooms are comfortable enough but undeniably tired. The bathrooms still hint at former glory with their marble finishes, although the once-opulent gold taps are now sporting the occasional patch of rust, and the magnificent carpets have collected a few battle scars over the years.

These days it feels less like a five-star hotel and more like a rather expensive Airbnb. The bar hasn’t just closed – it’s disappeared altogether. The restaurant seems to open whenever it feels like it, the minibars are empty, there’s nowhere to grab even a packet of crisps, and room service is about as limited as a politician’s apology.

Thankfully, there’s a Tesco just five minutes away, so all is not lost.

If your benchmark is a Travelodge, you’ll probably think you’ve landed in paradise. If you’re expecting anything remotely resembling The Dorchester, prepare for a sharp reality check. The “5-star deluxe” badge belongs in the history books rather than on the front door.

That said, the location is excellent and perfect for the Chelsea & Kensington vibe.

Come on, The Bentley… you were once a grand old lady. It’s time for the facelift you so desperately deserve.

Easy to get to from cater road. Had the 30 min Swedish massage and the mini facial and both were amazing.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for catching up with friends. A lovely afternoon tea experience booked through virgin experience. The staff made it very easy and convenient to book with my voucher.
Manpreet was so lovely and kind with the experience once we arrived.
She took myself and mum mum in with a warm welcome and really made the evening. She even took amazing pictures of us when we asked!
She’s well experienced and I will definitely look at booking here again for events and food dining.

The food was also a 10/10!!

Lovely hotel

The room was spacious and the air conditioning was v good

We had an amazing experience of Afternoon Tea at the Peridot Restaurant, the environment was perfect and during our time there the person attending to us was called Bala and we were delighted to have received her help. She was always ready to assist us with anything we needed, and her work ethic was exquisite.

The quality of the food and deserts was beyond my expectations and I’m so glad that we chose this as an experience during our trip to London.

We will be recommending this to all our Family and Friends.
