Pros:

The location is fabulous. The locals are unbelievably kind and friendly.

Cons:

Had a massage that cost 85e. She basically rubbed oil on me. There was no skill to it. Very disappointing.

Se Boutique hotel
Pros:

Room was great with kettle and microwave. Staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean. Location excellent.

Cons:

The breakfast had good selections but the hot breakfast was cold and you had to keep queuing up for hot water. There needed to be more hot water available. Plates were so small so you had to keep getting up and down for more food.
Pillows were too big and thick. I had to sleep on my fleece which was much more comfortable.

Excellent centrally located hotel in Funchal.
Pros:

The receptionist was really helpful and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble for her. We only stayed one night but would definitively consider a longer stay in future.
The breakfast selection was OK, however, we have experienced better in Madeira on previous visits.

Cons:

Maybe breakfast if I'm being picky.

It was absolutely amazing.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast,they cater for coeliac. The pool was lovely. Beautiful rooftop bar overlooking Funchal. The hotel is right beside the cathedral .Special thanks to our lovely receptionist Pricilla who helped us with everything.We will be back.

Amazing breakfast, staff, location, roof top patio and sunset drinks. We stayed 3 nights but only really needed 1-2 for

Location was great to explore the old town on foot

Cons:

Was a bit noisy, I’m assuming delivery carts for hotels/restaurants being pushed along the cobblestone streets in the very early morning.

Heerlijk hotel in het oude centrum
Pros:

Leuk hotel in het oude centrum. Geweldig vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, heerlijk ontbijt. De kamer was ruim, de douche heerlijk, fijn bed, koffie en thee faciliteit op de kamer, korting voor de parkeergarage.

Cons:

Een toilet met glazen deur vind ik wat minder, maar voor het ruimtelijk gevoel is het wel een goede keuze

Great stay.
Pros:

Hotel was fantastic. Great location, amazing breakfast every morning, staff went above and beyond to help celebrate a special occasion and had great recommendations in Funchal. Look forward to our next visit.

Obiekt wyjątkowy w swojej artystycznej oprawie. Łóżka duże wygodne. Woda i ekspres to kawy w pokojach. SUPER. Śniadania jak jest się tydzień to trochę monotonne. Niestety nie ma sałaty i dodatków. A szkoda bo miejsce wyjątkowe.
Kolacja na tarasie za 90 euro nie warta swojej ceny. Cudowne koncerty na dachu.

Very poor location and no communication regarding this issue.
Pros:

Good location as far as being centrally located in Funchal. The problem is that it is not located on a used road. And the sidewalk / non through road closes much of the day. It’s impossible to find. It’s impossible to get your luggage to the hotel. The parking is 10 minutes away. No one tells you that you can’t drive your car near it and that the “road “ is closed most of the time. They should at a minimum send you an e mail explaining that you can’t drive to it and won’t be able to find it. I almost canceled my stay and found a different hotel. We couldn’t find it even after calling them after an extreme amount of frustration.

Cons:

The location and that the “road” / sidewalk is usually closed. The fact that your car is 10 minutes away. The fact that you can not drop your bags at the hotel. If you have heavy bags it is not where you want to stay.

Perfect place, you won’t regret staying here.
Pros:

The hotel, decor in the communal areas is very quirky, fun and cosy. All the staff are super friendly and extremely helpful. The location is perfect. Great buffet breakfast with hot and cold food available and healthy options.

Cons:

It’s a shame that the rooms are not decorated more to match the vibe of the communal areas.
