Bathroom felt a bit tired
My room was quiet, but I did not expect to have to walk up a flight of stairs to get there.

Olde worlde - with a library ( & daily newspapers) and drawing room and old-fashioned lift. Felt like being in an Agatha Christie novel- old portraits in the hallway. Very charming.
Also held a small gathering in their restaurant which went well.
(Sadly I didn’t get to have their high tea or make use of their neighbouring hotel’s facilities which were also available. )

Came for a birthday dinner with my mum. Had amazing food and staff was amazing. I think his name was saiful. Sang happy birthday to me and it was really lovely.

Interior needs to be updated since carpeting appeared quite old and not clean . Bathrooms would also benefit from updating even if this is an old hotel
