Bien situé, très central et pratique.

Helpfull staff

The lobby was the prettiest part of the hotel and the reception was kind. However, the cleanness was not to the standard that there was ants in the toilet and rust spot on the towel rack. The location was well connected but very noisy on Saturday night (even till 2am).

Hotel is in a great location for exploring Lyon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just be prepared for some noise at night as it is on a busy street with bars and restaurants open late.

Pour le prix, la chambre est assez petite! On nous a surclassé! Donc je n'imagine pas la chambre standard.... sinon chambre très propre, a part notre coussin qui ne sentais pas très bon! Personnel très agréable, petit déjeuner dans les standards 3 étoiles. Le café et l'eau mis a disposition dans la salle petit-déjeuner est un plus!

Ne pas prendre la chambre 117. Fenêtre donnant sur vis à vis d'une autre chambre. Matelas très très mou. Climatisation bruyante.

If you have a room facing the street it is so noisy from very early morning till evening. The windows are not reducing any noise.

I would not recommend the breakfast. It was not even close to being worth the money. Instead go to a bakery around the corner and get something better and much cheaper.

The rooms are very small but have what is needed. And the location is well connected to public transport and sights around the town.

The staff speaks English sufficiently.

Meget centralt placeret hotel, virker helt nyt, virkelig venlig betjening i receptionen, da vi ankom. Vores datter ønskede at få et lyserødt værelse, så vi blev opgraderet af ren venlighed. Sådan en imødekommende modtagelse i receptionen betyder virkelig meget. Der er kaffe, koldt vand og danskvand til rådighed i lobbyen døgnet rundt. Morgenmaden er virkelig lækker med ene kvalitetsvarer. Udvalget er ikke kæmpe stort, men til gengæld har man lyst til at spise det hele! Værelserne er små, men meget lækre. Og der er et meget lækkert parkeringshus 100m væk.

Never stayed in Lyon. So pleased I chose Hotel Republik. Very clean, comfortable, helpful staff, Great location. I highly recommend

Super bra hotell på en lugn gata vid en perfekt läge. Hotellet är nyrenoverat med fina detaljer och vackra färger. Vi tig det billigaste rummet, juniorrum, helt ok för en natt. Det finns större rum lite dyrare.

Really lovely hotel and centrally located to all the shops and restaurants and sightseeing. The only reason I have given them a 4 is because of the bed being too soft for me.

It was an ok hotel, but considering the price, it was a disappointing hotel. I would have stayed somewhere else for half the price and had a nicer room. The window looked directly at a wall so there was not much natural light, and everything felt a bit dated (surprising considering the pictures looked nice and bright). Definitely not a room I enjoyed spending time in and felt I had spent way too much money to stay here. Glad I had only booked one night here and had the majority of my stay another place in Lyon that was nicer and much cheaper.
