Sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt, außergewöhnlich gute Betten, gute Atmosphäre, sehr empfehlenswert.
Pros:

Sehr einladend und großzügig wirkend, an einem wunderschönem kleinem Park gelegen, ruhig und man ist gleich mitten in der Stadt. Sehr nette Besitzer und sehr freundliches, aufmerksames Personal. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefüllt. Wir genossen unseren morgendlichen Café in der stilvollen Library mit und Blick auf den Park. Das Familienzimmer war gemütlich, ansprechend und stilvoll gestaltet, die Betten waren königlich- ein grosser Lob an das Hotel.

Absolute loved our stay
Pros:

Had a lovely stay here and the lady who was running the hotel was absolutely amazing. Couldn’t have made our stay anymore welcoming. Breakfast was incredible too. We’ll hopefully be back one day x

Cons:

Maybe the bathroom could do with a little update. Rooms were lovely though.

Beautiful family run hotel that sums up the beautiful town of Clonakilty within its 4 walls

Everything, from the moment we walked in until the moment we left.
Such lovely staff and warm and cosy homely feel, along with the little touches.

Loved the Hotel just a pity food wasn’t up to standard especially dinner was very bad value.
Pros:

Decor beautiful. Garden lovely. Loved the lounge room. Staff very helpful and pleasant.

Cons:

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Quality of cooked breakfast not good. Would have liked a pot of coffee. Prefer to help ourselves to breakfast. Would have liked some cereal and yogurt. Dinner was very bad value. Starters good but mains not good. My husband had curry with prawns of which there was only 3 and sauce very watery. I had nut loaf two small slices and a bit burned very bad value for what we paid 90€ that included one very small carafe of wine.

January birthday get away weekend
Pros:

We just returned from a two night stay at the Emmet Hotel and we had a wonderful time there. We loved the friendly cosy welcoming atmosphere . Our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean , cosy charming with high ceilings and a view from our window into a lovely town square. Thé breakfast was also delicious . Staff member Sinead deserves a special mention as she was such a great friendly helpful lady. All the staff we met were great. We would highly recommend this hotel and the town of Clonakilty is the most friendly place with great music and great food, possibly the best in the West Cork area.
