Everything
We came in late and left early. Hotel met expectations.
The suit like rooms are a big plus. the location is super for anyone that wants to explore the city. The breakfast is ok, not included so you can go to nearby places.
No pool .
10/10!!! Just finished a two night stay at this great hotel! A truly great experience from start to finish! I booked a standard room and was upgraded to a one bed suite, the suite was immaculate and recently renovated, two large TV's with chromcast, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, workstation, fast wifi, blackout blinds and more! The staff were all too willing to oblige, they allowed me to use the fitness centre before it opened, I was able to check in early and everyone was pleasant and accommodating. The hotel itself looked very fresh, recently renovated and seemed spotlessly clean throughout! The location cannot be beat, right on the boardwark and walking distance to great dining!
I told them it was my birthday, and i was alone. They were above and beyond. Gave me a suite with harbour looks. It was amazing.
Rachelle was super attentive.
Is the smaller things that gets you. Always.
Breaksfast was not included. But good options at the restaurant.
Clean. Lots of parking. Close to everything DT
Spacious (28 m2 with 2 double beds and a kitchenette), very clean standard apartment in a well located hotel on the Esplanade. Easy parking (Can 15 per day)
Lovely staff, very friendly people at reception.
Fabulous restaurant (the Trio) attached to it, very worthwhile dining there! As the weather was wet, cold, basically foul, we treated ourselves to dinner there twice and had a great culinary experience both times. Great staff careful with food allergies, which was a must.
The bathroom. I would have rated our experience with a 9, if not for the bathroom.
There is a shelf that is holding the bath towels, situated right above the toilets, and we kept bumping our heads into it (my husband is tall, which doesn't help). I think it is not safe to leave this shelf where it currently is, there is plenty of place in the bathroom to move it somewhere safer.
No hairdryer, maybe it was available at reception?
A mat for very wet boots would be useful.
Stayed at the Simon Hotel in Sydney, NS. The hotel itself is modern and clean, but be aware it’s directly on the waterfront beside a large crow roost.
Around 4–5am, hundreds of crows gather in the nearby trees and create extremely loud, continuous noise for hours.
If you’re a light sleeper, I strongly recommend requesting a room away from the water/trees or choosing a hotel further inland.
I often stay here and the front desk staff is very accommodating when plans need to change. All of the staff are very friendly.
Maybe provide a toilet brush in the bathroom?
