Just passable for a one night stay, but wouldn't recommend or visit again.
Pros:

The bed was alright for a cheap overnight stay, and the location of the hotel was very conveniently located to walk to/from the railway station and the town centre.

Cons:

When we checked in, the bathroom stank really strongly of smoke left over from a previous visitor, and the staff didn't really make a good attempt to clean it or offer a different room, instead claiming the smell was from coming from outside the hotel. The room's ventilation also wasn't amazing, as it got very hot during the night which, when combined with the smell of smoke, made for an unpleasant stay overall.

Minging shower heads. In one room curtain didn’t pull across window. Coffee machines didn’t work. No pods. Bar never open. Tiny un removable kettle. Not practical. Stains on ceiling

Good value for a short stay

The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The location is convenient, and the hotel offers good value for money, especially for a short stay or weekend getaway.

Cons:

The hotel feels quite dated and would benefit from some refurbishment. Some areas could also use more attention to maintenance and overall cleanliness to improve the guest experience.

I tried to have a pee outside I had a long 6 hours journey from Manchester and they refused me to check in so had to go

People who wasn’t as angry or got frustrated because I was abit drunk
