Gennaro was an excellent host, always available to answer questions, and went out of his way to help. He booked tickets for a day trip to Capri, informed us about the direct bus from Piano di Sorrento to Naples Airport, and provided clear directions to the bus stop.
The rooms are dated. While a kettle was provided, there were only tea bags and no coffee.
Very limited choices for breakfast with no menu available, and requested options like the scrambled eggs came in tiny portion sizes.
Sleep disturbances were frequently disrupted by noise from a garden cockerel and a barking dog. Additionally, waking up every morning with new mosquito bites was a constant issue. After leaving the air conditioning on during the day to manage extreme humidity, staff turned it off and left the window open, letting humid air back into the room.
The Secret Garden was honestly one of the highlights of our stay in the Sorrento area. If you’re looking for somewhere authentic, peaceful and away from the most touristy parts of Sorrento, this is the place.
The location is perfect. You’re close enough to Sorrento to easily enjoy everything the area has to offer, but when you come back to The Secret Garden, it feels like you’ve escaped the crowds and found your own little corner of Italy. It has a relaxed and charming atmosphere that is difficult to find in the more touristy areas.
But what really makes this place special is the people. The staff were absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. Everyone was incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming, and you genuinely get the feeling that they care about their guests.
And the breakfast deserves a special mention – it was excellent. A really lovely way to start each morning, with great food and the same warm, relaxed atmosphere that makes the whole place so special. It was something we genuinely looked forward to every day.
For anyone who wants to experience this beautiful part of Italy without staying right in the middle of the tourist crowds, I honestly couldn’t recommend The Secret Garden enough. Great location, fantastic breakfast, wonderful atmosphere and, most importantly, genuinely lovely people.

Location very close to the station and easy to locate with Google maps. The staff were very attentive, made you feel like a guest in their home.
The mattress was too soft for us, but that was personal preference.

Výborná pozice blízko nádraží, přístavu i centra města. Nádherná terasa pro výborné snídaně a večerní posezení. Výborná pozice pro výlet lodi na Capri.
Pokoj je pod střechou a je tam brzy ráno slyšet pohyb a hlučnost holubů. Je třeba špunty do uší.

Väldigt charmigt boende beläget precis som det heter i en ”hemlig trädgård” innanför murar. Nära till havet.
Tutto mi è piaciuto tutto e’stata un piacevole scoperta i proprietari tutti gentili affabili pronti a darti consigli e a soddisfare ogni piccola richiesta persone perbene , ke sanno aver a ke fare con i clienti colazione fantastica con prodotti sia freschi ke confezionati ma alto livello poterla fare in terrazza poi apoteosi.

La villa è molto bella nel suo stile e lo staff è molto gentile ed attento.
La nostra stanza nonostante fosse mansardato è stata fresca .Molto accogliente e ben arredata.
La prima colazione offre frutta fresca del guardino ottima.
Facilmente raggiungibile, l’ambiente caratteristico
Amamos o hotel, arquitetura fofa e classica. Cafe da manha charmoso em uma varanda. Nosso quarto tinha vista para o por so sol de Piano, vista linda demais. Adoramos o café, as instalaçoes e o atendimento. Cama confortavel, quarto espaçoso. Perfeito!
