WIFI WAS CONFUSING. WE WERE NOT GIVEN ANY INFORMATION REGARDING HOW TO USE IT EITHER. THE ROOM WAS OK, BUT FOR THE AMOUNT I PAID, SHOULD HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT.
The staff was about the only thing good about the stay
Air conditioning didn’t work, there were stains on the bed and linens, phone didn’t work, pool was cloudy. There was what looked like blood or maybe dried ketchup on the walls and lamps. The bathroom smelled strongly of urine, the bathroom door looked like it was falling apart. I have more pictures to share but this will only let me upload 4.
I appreciated how the property is right off the highway. This made it very efficient to reach the surrounding areas and points of interest I wanted to visit during my stay. The primary reason for my visit was the attractions in Hershey, and this hotel is a quick 15-minute drive away from there. I saved so much money by staying here, a little outside of Hershey, rather than in Hershey proper. A fantastic option if you have a car! I also liked how long the breakfast hours were. The kitchenette was well-equipped, and I was able to make my dinners very easily there.
There was a lingering smell of weed in the room, which was unfortunate, and I was surprised there were no USB ports on any of the outlets or the lamps. USB ports are pretty standard in equivalent accommodations today, and I was counting on some being there. Had I known this was the case, I would have packed my electronics a little differently. The folding closet door was off its track, and overall, the room and bathroom shows its age. However, if you are looking for a place to crash and don't plan to spend much time in your room, this does the trick.
The staff and location
The tub was dirty. The sink was cracked. There was supposed to be a Jacuzzi type tub. The breakfast was awful. Rotten oranges rotten apples. The eggs were disgusting. The sausage was like a car tire absolutely gross.
The size of the room and the the small kitchenette even though we did not use anything but refrigerator.
The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the pillows lumpy. The bed linens were not very crisp or tight. I had to assume they were clean, but so rumpled that I had questions. We found an item on the floor of the bathroom that indicated it was not cleaned thoroughly. I expected better from Choice Hotels.
How close it was to the places we were going to.
The room was dirty. Stains on the walls, and on bedding. Smelled like mildew. Not enough towels. The wifi was awful. No channels on TV. The eggs at breakfast were water.not enough variety of anything..
The location was great. The staff was courteous. The room was very clean. Plenty of towels and soap. Tons of space. I loved the kitchen area along with the couch for sitting and a table to eat at.
The ice machine on our floor was super loud. The hallways were jit and the windows in the halls needed to be cleaned. Not a game changer, just an observation.

Room smelled badly
I loved how clean the hotel was. The rooms literally have everything you need and has a kitchen! I lliked how nice the staff was. Great location! Only a 12 minute ride to Hershey park!
The wifi didn't work very well. The pool is not heated like stated online. The room that the pool is in is heated but the pool it self is not heated!

Was convenient to the event we were in town for. Facility appeared to be clean and taken care of reasonably well.
Bathroom could use a few extra hooks to hang clothes on and an update would be good.
Unfortunately, the hotel was very outdated and did not match the pictures online. The building, rooms, and bathrooms felt old and in need of major renovations. and overall it did not feel worth how expensive it was. I expected a cleaner, more modern experience for the amount paid.
