Great location in Chelsea, making it easy to explore New York and get around the city. The hotel was clean, comfortable.

Cons:

Some of the common areas, particularly the elevators and corridors, were looking a little tired and could benefit from refurbishment. The room itself was generally clean and comfortable, although the bathroom needed attention, with mould, poorly applied silicone around the walls and shower, and a shower that didn’t function properly. Some in-room services, including access to the room service menu, also weren’t working. Overall, a comfortable stay, but the maintenance issues were disappointing, particularly given the room rate and the standards I would expect from the DoubleTree by Hilton brand.

ok price for the access to the city. would go back if stay was cheaper.
Pros:

beds were comfy. complimentary cookie was a nice surprise. location was great for travel around city.

Cons:

small elevators with constant stops. small rooms. no vending machine on our floor even though it said there was one. had trouble getting into room with card first time. had to pull handle up all the way to open door, very unintuitive.
