GREAT FOOD EXCELLENT RECEPTION STAFF BUT THE BARTENDER NEEDS TO PUT PRIDE AND EFFORT INTO HIS WORK
Pros:

The Receptionist was excellent really professional and we got into our room well before the 3pm Check In .
The Breakfast was first class booked to order and an excellent choice . I had a three egg omelette and my partner had Eggs Benedict and our daughter had a mini breakfast .
The man who served us was what you'd describe as the consummate professional - great to see a proper waiter who was a master of his craft .
Something you don't always see in the modern era. The food in the bar was also very good we eat in the bar at lunchtime and in the evening The one blip was the toasted sandwich 🥪 It's only a small thing but two of the corners of the sandwich had no cheese tomato or onion just ham . I often find this with toasted sandwiches treated as an afterthought .

Cons:

My partner got me an Irish Coffee after dinner in the bar.
When the waitress arrived with it -:it resembled a poorly made Late rather than an Irish Coffee with no whipped cream and no black white tiered effect. The young male Bartender who made it told me it had Jameson and coffee so it was the same thing . I asked him had he any pride in his work the waitress said she didn't know how to make one . The bartender went onto say they had no cream which was a lie as I'd had a desert with a whipped cream garnish . He was quite obnoxious the young bartender.
Eventually the waitress arrived with a more senior member of staff who had a bowl of cream and he made a perfect Irish Coffee floating the cream over a hot spoon showing the waitress how to make it. But the episode with the cheeky bartender spoiled the meal he was simply too lazy, to go to the kitchen and fetch some whipped cream . One other issue the trolley they use ferrying food orders, from the kitchen has seen better days and was dirty and past it's well by dare and I wouldn't be happy accepting a plate of food off of it .
They were using it for large orders when they had tables with six or more . But invest in a new clean stainless steel trolley and consign that old trolley to the skip. I also saw it in use at breakfast and it's grubby and past it's sell by date .
It's a pity as the food particularly at breakfast and I the evening is top class

Pros:

Big rooms and comfy beds

Cons:

Breakfast was extremely disappointing and felt very rushed by the staff. Breakfast items began getting cleared up at 10.20 even though breakfast was on until 10.30. What we ordered was extremely unappetising looking and tasted even worst. Poached eggs cooked in so much vinegar they tasted sour. Hollandaise sauce was like a gloopy custard. Felt like we were given scraps or a revenge breakfast because we arrived 20 minutes before last service at 10.30.
Hallways extremely noisy with kids sprinting up and down until close to midnight. Next day hallways were littered with sugar sachets and paper from the children playing the night before.

Not a 4 star hotel and rooms definatley not DELUXE
Pros:

Breakfast was very nice, freshly cooked and served hot

Cons:

Room was supposed to be a deluxe room, definatley was not deluxe.
Carpet was stained in bedroom, radiator was chipped, walls were badly marked.
Shower tray in bathroom was dirty and tiles in shower the grouting was very dirty.
To say the bathroom door needed a paint is an understatement
