last breakfast on a bank holiday was 10 am - a bit early
booked room service - quality and quantity of food was good with a few minor changes
no sugar/salt/pepper
toast was warm bread

Friendly staff, spotless rooms
Pros:

Reception staff very helpful - both on the phone before our arrival and when we were there. Spotless rooms.

Cons:

Our room was just above a section outside where folks gather to chat or have a cigarette so there was a bit of noise late at night. Breakfast nook was very small so could get very busy suddenly.

Recommend only if no other option

Breakfast was ok.

Cons:

Hotel main door didn't operate, had to be pushed manually. Cleanliness of hotel not good. Carpets need refreshing. Room was dark - only 2 lights worked. It does not reflect its supposed 4 stars.

Couldn’t have a drink in the bar! All tables reserved for food, even though the bar was half empy. We were told if we wanted to just have a drink, then we had to go upstairs to a bare room with nobody in it. Extremely poor service. I’ve never been in a hotel bar and told we can’t have a drink in it. So we left, went to a nearby pub called O ‘Gormans, and had a good night in a genuine bar with good atmosphere and good service

Cons:

Netflix didn’t work on tv and our room was above the courtyard with a party and microphone excessive we couldn’t hear tv properly or sleep till 1 a.m. The courtyard sits in the middle of the hotel with rooms surrounding them it’s strange.

Pros:

The hotel had a lovely restaurant which is great after a busy day working and travelling. There were plenty of car park spaces and use of a gym etc if desired.
