Pros:

The staff service was excellent, and the food was very good.

Cons:

The cleanliness is poor, and if you're traveling with your partner, you have to push two single beds together yourself. When I booked, I wrote to them requesting that they please push the beds together properly and, of course, provide the correct bedding. Nothing was done, and the cleaning was terrible. Just to give you an example, the lamp above the mirror in the bathroom was covered in wool; no one had been there for a very long time.

Pros:

lovely setting and sea views, well kept grounds
Very good evening buffet food at celebration, nicecooked to order breakfast fair price ,
comfortable bed , excellent staff , common areas in hotel
although traditional well kept.
Traditional family run hotel

Cons:

not much space in bathroom/shower /toilet. shower over bath challenging getting in/out.
Although room was clean it needs refurb , eg carpets /xurtains stained made them look grubby.

Wie is de gast?
Pros:

De omgeving

Cons:

Personeel in de keuken besloot de 'baas' te zijn. Draaide hun muziek en zongen luid mee. Hoort natuurlijk niet te gebeuren in een wat klassiek hotel.

Ideal location as we travelled down the Fife coast.
Pros:

All food reasonably priced. Dinner menu offered an extensive Asian menu which we went for. Delicious curries.
Breakfast wasn’t a buffet set price. Everything was freshly prepared. I had eggs Benedict and my husband had poached eggs and avocado toast. Plenty of toast and coffee with it. All served to the table.

Cons:

Can’t fault the hotel.

Worthwhile stay!
Pros:

Hotel located outside the centre however there is a bus stop literally across the road for town and just a short distance after the hotel upon return.
Dahl picked my husband up as we were unsure where we were due to our first visit and been guided wrongly as where to get off. Carried our luggage to the room upstairs a we both have a stick giving us the choice to see how we'd manage and offering help up and down if desired.
All staff helpful and friendly, room ( 4) spacious, easy to work shower, table n chairs large wardrobe and shelf space. Absolutely stunning view of both the gardens but moreso the sea.
Sunday Carvery deal at £20 worth every penny plus the 2 courses for £15:or 3 for £19 during the week.
Would most definetely stay again.

Cons:

The food could have been hotter although not a problem for staff to do do as they did for me. May be hot enough for some as i like my food piping hot. The porridge with honey and fruit had only a few pieces so morning 2 asked for more which was given.
Pehaps more coathangers would be a good idea as we only had 3 for the 2 of us.

Hotel break.
Pros:

The lovely hotel. Excellent staff, Dahl who couldnt be more helpful nothing too much for him. Also Ross( the singing chef) whose food was excellent and good value for money as well as Lewis and Alex helping out at breakfast and evening meal times and behind the bar.
Room was great, comfy bed, shower, table and 2 chairs and a magnificent sea view as well as of the gardens.

Cons:

Nothing much really maybe food a bit hotter and more hangers in the wardrobes.
