The clean rooms through out and the friendly staff

Upon arrival we could tell that the hotel was tired but we went ahead with the check-in, hopeful that the rooms would be decent.
We headed up to our room and the hotel was incredibly dated and needed an upgrade for sure. We opened the bedroom door and ny heart sank - the carpet was dirty, stained. The furniture was scruffy and the table was broken. There was scuffs on the wall, a previous guest's toothbrush was sticking out from under one of the beds, the carpet was unhoovered. I couldnt take my shoes off. I refused to unpack. This was a £200 hotel stay and after a 4 hour drive, my heart sank. Heaven forbid someone have standards!
The only positive was the staff were lovely, funny and friendly, but when im staying somewhere, the cleanliness and standards mean more to me.

Lovely hotel in a great location, room were nice and well decorated. Staff were excellent friendly and so helpful. The view from the terrace was lovely.

The place is filthy with poor hygiene no hot water no working toilet the food i got the chicken was pink so had to send it back there is no blind for the large window in the bathroom lamp shades broken the carpets are stained full room is tattie old dirty and dated there is so much more !!!
The staff was very helpful and friendly and made my stay comfortable . When fishing up that end with friends and would definitely stay again thanks

Everything run down and in poor state. Worn and stained carpets, old and uncomfortable mattress. tired decor etc etc. Obviously needs serious investment to improve standards.
