Pros:

Awful experience - the worst by far of our journey
Cons:

The room was nowhere luxuous as advertised on their website. A horrible smell in the bathroom made our stay unbearable. A quick shower the morning after transformed the bathroom into a swamp, because the drain of the shower is not functional and there is no break to prevent the water to spread everywhere, which explained the terrible smell : the successive floods have rotten the underneath floor. The room was freezing cold when we arrived, because no one thought to plug the radiator before our arrival. The window was covered with wet fog in the morning, which is another proof of the poor isolation and ventilation. I would strongly recommend NOT booking into this place, because of the potential health hazard, breathing the mold that might be hidden under the continuous flooded carpet. Especially if you are travelling with kids. I was surprised to see such a poorly managed accomodation in a country famous for its warm welcoming. Then I met the owner of the place, right before taking our leave. This hotel is not ran by a Scottish family as advertised, which explains a lot.

Una sosta davvero piacevole!
Pros:

Le camere e il bagno sono ampi e spaziosi, con una bellissima vista sulla vicina spiaggia. In hotel c'è la possibilità, su prenotazione, di usufruire della colazione e della cena nella sala ristorante. Le camere sono comunque dotate di bollitore, per prepararsi in autonomia tè o caffè. A 3 minuti di auto c'è la stazione dei treni di Kinghorn, molto comoda per raggiungere Edimburgo (si arriva in circa 50 minuti).

Cons:

La tappezzeria, soprattutto la moquette, è datata e andrebbe sostituita.
