Poor hotel
Pros:

The location was convenient as we were visiting family in Burntisland.

Cons:

On arrival the hand basin in the en suite was blocked.

There were several lights in the room that did not work.

When we went to breakfast, there was no chef on the first morning and we were asked if we could wait while the owner did the school run. We then received a call in the evening to see if we wanted breakfast the following day as the owner would have to hire in a chef.

When we returned to the hotel on the first evening at 9pm the bar was shut and in total darkness.

We only ever saw the owner. The hotel appears to being run on shoestring

Pros:

The view is amazing and location is great , wifi is good. Staff were friendly. Little products in bathroom for use.

Cons:

Room needed a good hoover/carpet clean. Stayed a few nights, cups weren't cleaned or bedding or towels replaced after placing tag on door requesting. They only replaced the milk/tea and made the bed but didn't change covers.
Very quiet, bar restaurant and shop seemed closed....no one around apart from 1 on duty person.

Lage des Hotels sehr gut… Austattung und Organisation optimierungsfähig
Cons:

Frühstück wird nach einer Menükarte für jeden Gast individuell zubereitet. Allerdings dauert dies lange und leider bekommt man nicht unbedingt das, was man bestellt hat; obwohl die Wünsche notiert wurden.
Hier würde es helfen, dass die Gäste sich mit Kaffee, Toast etc. selbst versorgen könnten.

Old Fashioned Charm Across the Firth From Edinburgh
Pros:

We loved the old style ambiance of the Kingswood Hotel. It's rather old fashioned which gives it a certain charm. The rooms were spacious, clean, with a lovely outlook. We dined in the restaurant and had a delicious Indian meal - very tasty sauces.

Enjoyable but definitely room for improvement.
Pros:

Staff were very helpful

Cons:

Small things like carrying a large key, key cards would be better as door lock is tricky to open at times.We had a problem one night when somebody was trying to get into our room, we were in room 6, and they were in Room 9, the problem being they read number upside down or staff didn’t say they were in 9 and not room 6.

Lovely afternoon tea
Pros:

Just had a very leisurely afternoon tea to celebrate my mums birthday. Lovely selection of savoury followed with lots of delicious sweet with tea and coffee. Staff attentive and friendly. Would recommend and wll hopefully visit again soon.

Wedding = Amazing!!
Pros:

We had our wedding at the Kingswood hotel! And all I can say was amazing! Dal and his team were amazing on the day from the minute I booked it Dal has always been in contact always answering my questions and keeping us at ease. Nothing was a problem for the team at the Kingswood and our wedding ran so smoothly and this was down to Dal listening to us and just being amazing throughout! I would recommend this hotel to everyone for a wedding!

Haben versucht so wenig wie möglich im Zimmer aufzuhalten.
Pros:

Sehr in die Jahre gekommen, extrem hellhörig, schmutzige Teppiche, schlechte Matratzen. Außenanlage ist kaum vorhanden, Schotterparkplatz und verdreckter Hinterhof.
