Satisfactoria, bun punto para trasladarse a playas más bonitas y cercanas.
Pros:

Bueno el desayuno y el lugar con su ubicación era el esperado, un poco de ruido por tránsito vehicular cercano y negocio con gente tomando y enfiestada al puro frentel hotel.

Cons:

Se necesita espejo de cuerpo entero y otras facilidades, como refri y cafetera. Pero esa es la condición de la habitación qué tomamos.

Pros:

We had a great stay at Bahia Esmeralda Boutique Hotel & Villas. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was calm, laid back, and relaxing. The hotel is a smaller complex, which made it feel more personal and quiet.
The location was very convenient. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach, with a convenience store right across the street and a larger grocery store about 5 minutes away. It is also close to Playa Flamingo and only about a 20 minute drive to Tamarindo.
Our kids had a blast in the pool and loved exploring the surroundings, especially spotting iguanas around the property. Overall, a very enjoyable and easy stay for a family.

Kind staff, and we met wonderful people while staying here. Close to the most beautiful beach for spectacular sunsets.
Pros:

Gorgeous shaded garden area, breezes, iguanas, perfect temperature pool! Feels like an oasis.

Pros:

Las instalaciones muy bonitas,la piscina grande y limpia. La comida muy rica, únicamente el servicio de restaurante es de las 17:00 horas a las 21:00 horas. Varias playas muy cerca incluyendo las catalinas y flamingo en fin un lugar muy bonito . Lugar seguro cuenta con parqueo y guarda. Después de las 21:00 se cierra el portón y se abre con clave el portón de acceso. Se pueden observar monos aulladores camino hacia las Catalinas en un mirador pequeño q hay. Las Catalinas es gratis caminar por sus calles y el vehículo te cobran 3 mil colones por todo el día. Los restaurantes se encuentran bastantes y para todos los gustos y presupuestos no es un lugar caro para comer. Excelente opción para vacacionar. En la playa no se observa mucha gente.

Está bien para una sola visita…
Pros:

Los cócteles, el chef agradable y la habitación con buena ropa de cama y equipada para estancias largas. La chica de la recepción muy atenta y agradable.

Cons:

Las áreas comunes no lucen muy bien especialmente la zona de accesos a las habitaciones y sobre todo la pisina, estaba con el agua turbia cuando llegamos. Además no hacen limpieza de la habitación.
El desayuno no es su fuerte, muy básico y caro, las porciones sumamente pequeñas y el personal de la mañana poco comunicativo y agradable.

Todo estupendo. La atención de Teresa, la recepcionista perfecta, fue amable servicial y nos ayudó a encontrar un taller el último día que necesitabamos para arreglar las llantas.
El sitio ideal, los trabajadores muy amables, y cerca de la playa la Penca, preciosa.

Pros:

We loved these quaint and relaxing villas in Playa Potrero. The villas and property were well maintained, the staff was friendly and attentive, the food was good. If you're looking for an authentic, cultural Costa Rican experience this is a great spot. We were able to walk to local stores, restaurants and beaches. It was easy to travel to other nearby areas such as Las Catinas and Tamarindo. The only reason I didn't give it 10 stars is because there was no small fridge in our villa. Aside from this we highly recommend this place.

Cons:

There wasn't much we didn't like. We would've liked a small fridge and a few more English cable stations .

Pros:

Es muy relajante. Aseado. La habitación estaba bien. Hamacas o lugares de descanso están muy bien. La piscina no es muy grande pero es suficiente para relajarse. Desayuno bien/normal. Queda cerca de muchos lugares útiles como pulperías, supermercado, playas, sodas, restaurantes, turismo en general.

Cons:

La presión de los tubos del lavatorio y de la ducha es irregular. Si abres poco, te sale un chorro de agua potente que hace que todo se moje en el lavatorio, además el tubo se movía demasiado, parecía que estaba mal instalado o que se iba quebrar. Algo similar con la ducha. Quizas necesite limpieza para que los chorros no salgan por todas partes disparejos. En fin, esto no es algo grave, ya que igualmente había agua y calentaba como debía. Solo pienso que si es algo que se debería arreglar.

Lovely and quiet.
Pros:

Lovely grounds, mature trees and gardens, villas and patio were lovely, pool and loungers were great. Staff were attentive and kind. Breakfast options were included and amazing.

Cons:

Although there were a few small grocery stores, one souvenir shop, and handful of restaurants, the main area of Potrero required a taxi (or 30 minute walk - hard in the heat).

Pros:

Ambiente bello, curato e pulito. Letto comodo, doccia buona e aria condizionata più che gradita. Staff molto gentile.

Cons:

Servizio ristorazione esageratamente lento se ci sono più di 3 tavoli a cena. La colazione non vale il prezzo: misera nelle quantità e si paga come extra anche la minima richiesta (un po’ di marmellata!!).
