Hyatt Regency Amritsar Hotel & Spa

Our stay at Hyatt Regency Amritsar was overall satisfactory, but compared to other five-star hotels, this property felt less luxurious despite being expensive.

The room was small, and the washroom was not fully set up for two guests at check-in (no bathrobes or face towels), though these were provided when requested.

Aryan Sareen at check-in was excellent - courteous, professional, and very responsive.

However, the dining management and transport team were slow to respond and did not always confirm requests. The restaurant ambience needs an upgrade. The New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner lighting and décor were underwhelming, and it was disappointing to see Christmas décor still at the entrance on 31st December despite a New Year event being hosted.

Food quality was good, but service was slow. Staff were polite but overall delivery lacked the efficiency expected from premium luxury hotel.

We had a very nice and relaxing stay from start to finish. The atmosphere was calm and comfortable, making it easy to unwind and enjoy our time. What really stood out was how helpful and friendly the staff were throughout our stay. They were always available, attentive, and willing to assist with anything we needed, which made the experience even more pleasant. Their professionalism and warm attitude created a welcoming environment and added a personal touch. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay, and we left feeling refreshed and well taken care of.

This hotel was very good and the breakfast was very good with the morning buffet. Service was good and people were very helpful. We had a wonderful Tour Guide Anil Sharma ( +91-9780234705 ) who executed our tour really well. He showed us the entire kitchen in the Golden Temple and we did Sewa there.

It is good place to spend short break. Rooms sizes are terrible small. But service part make this thing up. Aman at Bar is wonderful with drinks and Mithilesh's service is out of box. Even Arsh at booking counter was pleasure to talk with. Except room/bathroom Sizes, rest is good to go.
Don't think even Suite will give your bedroom big space.

Excellent Services, Amazing Food, Staff was too Good, Superb hospitality.... have used shuttle for Gurudwara Golden Temple...

First, the hotel location is perfect making everything easily accessible.
Second, the rooms, service of the hotel was top notch.

was very helpful .

Pool is clean and hygienic and it’s swimmable in winters also.

Mr. Gurpreet was really prompt with the services , kind and helpful.
The food was amazing .I was really impressed by the overall vibe.

Prashant and his team were great in serving us breakfast and looked after our family including kids. Service was excellent and agile and we really appreciate overall efforts.

The food is very flavourful specially the chicken tikka and mutton rogan. The staffs are very polite and quick with their service. Special thanks to Rajendra for the warm welcome.

General: The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the Rooms have all the amenities you would expect from a 5* hotel.

Location: it’s about a 30min drive to the golden temple in traffic otherwise 15mins. There is a great mall right next door with many local and international brands as well as a food court. We tried an Italian place (kids wanted pasta for a change) but were surprised they did great indian food too! - check out the amritsari fish there!

Food:
We only had breakfast at the hotel which was beyond amazing. So much choice for every palate imaginable. I loved that they did a great Bircher muesli and great egg white masala omelette in addition to all the wonderful Indian breakfast items. My daughter’s loved the sweet offering in terms of chocolate doughnuts, crepes and croissants special shout out to Shubarna and Fayzol (not sure of spelling)
Who, when heard that our flight was cancelled and we had a 14 hour journey ahead, packed us some Parrotta And other goodies for our onward journey as a family- thank you guys x

Fitness
The gym is small but equipped well with three treadmills and other recruitment. They would benefit from getting a free weight machine which is not used. Saying that they did have free weights available independently.. no barbells.
I didn’t use the swimming pool. It is a rooftop swimming pool and every time I went it was closed… Possibly due to the heavy fog.

Had a very pleasant stay at Hyatt Amritsar. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. Everything was well organised and smooth. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

You guys are doing great ... from the vallet to check in to breakfast everything was outstanding.. Very clean property and very well maintained . I stay every time here whenever I visit and always its better. Keep up the good work .

Hotel in good location as close to a mall. Also not too far from The Golden Temple.
Hotel is average, breakfast disappointing for a Hyatt. Rooms are worn as too is Hotel.
As a stop for seeing the Temple it will do but not the standard would expect from a world brand

Was a great experience at Scotch house, Hyatt. Mr. Sumit was very pleasant and approachable. Loved the cozy vibes of the place. Would like to visit again.. 😊

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional service and warm hospitality I experienced during my recent stay at your hotel. From the moment I checked in Mr. Abhay and promptly gave me a room and also assisted me with the morning shuttle for The golden temple.

The room was immaculately clean, and the amenities were top-notch. The staff's attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond to address my requests were truly impressive.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. Mr. Rajender and Mr. Farhan kept a thorough check on everyone and assisted with every single thing
I faced a very small issue with my in room dining order but Mr. Devraj made sure everything was served correctly with a warm smile.

During checkout Ms Manpreet and Ms. Sakshi greeted and assisted me and made sure all my concerns and feedbacks were taken care of.

Please extend my gratitude to the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable. I would highly recommend your hotel to friends and family and look forward to returning in the future.
