Residence Inn Port St Lucie

I was very disappointed. I had stayed here before and it was much better. I had ants in my bed and on the night table. The room wasn't very clean. Just felt dated and dingy. The door lock was broken and the phone didn't work. The internet was slow. Breakfast was TERRIBLE! I will not stay here again.

Its location

The room was very large and spacious with a living room and a kitchen area. The bathroom was also very large and had a separate sink area. The king size bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning cut the room nice and cold!

Looks new. Everything was cleaned and in excellent shape. The location was quiet and safe.

The worst Marriott property I’ve stayed at. While my family was sleeping the manager changed my rate from the rate I checked in on. I understood the rate change but it would have been helpful to know that at time of check in. I have been a Marriott Member for over 20 years and have never seen a manger take great pride in screwing over a customer like the one at this property. I will never stay here again.

Stayed here in March and was charged a different rate then I checked in on while I was asleep in the middle of the night. The manager was unpleasant and took great pride in my misfortune. I had no problem with the rate change but give me a heads up when I checked in of what my rate would be. I have been a Marriott Member for over 20yrs and have never come across a manager who took great pride in screwing over their customers. Will never stay at this hotel again.

What began as an ideal location for our tour of the area quickly became a nightmare stay. Air conditioning failed on night one and after a repair, night two was so hot we had to switch rooms. Both rooms were dated and showed significant signs of damage from previous stays. Old bedding, lack of properly fitted sheets, missing kitchen items, light bulbs, dish soap, the list goes on and on. While the front desk was kind, they could not fix all the broken items. It was terrible. Night 3 and 4 saw minor improvement as the couch was broken in the second room, and the light in the bath area was also out for our first day. How do the guest room attendants miss something as important as a vanity light bulb? A bit sad for this hotel. Breakfast was a mix of fake eggs, dried meats, and other basic items. Day one and two saw no fruit and lots of ants on the table and floor, enjoying the droppings from past guests, YUK. We had had enough and checked out a full day early. Sharing this experience with front desk management was met with a "we will take care of you" attitude, only to find that they misled this traveler and chose to offer no refund or make an effort to win us back at any cost. A 2-star hotel with a misleading management staff. never again. AVOID as this is no value.

Nice staff and good sized room

Location was very good. The room was clean and spacious. The kitchen was very good and the refrigerator was large and had a very good ice maker.
