Poor sound insulation lets down an otherwise very good airport hotel

Proximity to airport, good facilities, especially the pool, good breakfast

Cons:

Relatively expensive for Costa Rica, but I thought paying a bit more would ensure a good night’s sleep - I was wrong. The sound insulation is terrible for a modern hotel, I could hear road traffic all night long (even wearing earplugs), and air traffic was so loud I was convinced that the window was somehow not closed properly. The bed was also very soft which is still giving me back pain two days later. I could have booked a much cheaper hotel and had a similarly bad night’s sleep.

Au prix que l’on paie, nous aimerions minimalement un petit frigo et une bouteille d’eau fraîche.
De plus nous avons demandé que l’on nous réveille, et nous n’avons reçu aucun appel.
Très décevant, mais c’est pratique près de l’aéroport

Pros:

Heerlijk grote schone kamers en fijn zwembad

Cons:

De directe omgeving is niet geschikt voor een wandeling in de avond. Maar wel lekker dicht bij het vliegveld en uitstekende shuttle service!

Geweldige ligging dichtbij airport SJO -maar eveb lekker wandelen in de omgeving is geen goed plan-te gevaarlijk

Cons:

Geen gezellige restaurantjes in de directe omgeving. Denny’s voldeed maar we zochten eigenlijk iets charmanters
