Property driveway and parking area not plowed after winter storm earlier in the day, and still not plowed the next morning. My car was stuck in the driveway. No staff at the front desk in the morning. I found a snow shovel in the entrance and dug unsuccessfully for an hour until a random passing snowplow (not contracted with the motel) took pity on me, cleared a path, and the driver helped me push my car out. Appalling.
Check in was horrible. Nobody at front desk. Supposed to ring bell and look into a camera. Did that for over 15 min, as well as called a customer service phone number.
Parking lot had not been plowed after PA received about 6" of snow. Good thing I had a 4-wheel drive vehicle, which I needed.
Unfortunately the main reason for choosing to stay was the location and free breakfast. Unfortunately there was no breakfast even though it was also advertised at front desk
This was an unusual stay. The first 2 nights, we were the only people staying in the motel. The room was clean and served its purpose. There was some nasty coffee in the morning, but no other type of breakfast. There were a few rooms on the 2nd floor that had the doors propped open. It didn't look like anyone was staying in them but sometimes the room lights were on other times off. It did have a kind of creep factor.
The room was fine, though the TV was offline and had to get a young lady to fix that. Breakfast was pretty sparse, and lighting in breakfast room was bad. There was nobody at the front desk when I tried to check in. This place is in transition, so you've been warned!
Booking got cancelled due to late check in
Nothing
No hot water. No drinking glasses in room. Wall unit for heating was exceptionally noisy. Halls were not heated at all. No staff I facility to even ask for anything extra. Needs to close.
I did like the fact that I did not have too many neighbors on the sides of me that were noisy, I think the TV was the loudest thing. I appreciated the staff accommodating with extra towels and washcloths that sustained the entire stay.
I was informed there is a transition happening. However, the TV/internet went in and out during the stay. The continental breakfast did not have all the fixings. Milk ran out for cereal only two options, Bread/Bagels did not look fresh and limited fruit options. I hear the manager is retiring I hope the new staff is as nice. Lastly, the floor under my sink had tiles that were raised under it. When you use the commode you can clearly see it.
Nothing. A dump should be shutdown
I didn’t stay. No heat dirty
Convenient to restaurants and points of interest
No one was there to greet us. After an 8. Hour drive and ringing the bell several times, a man in worn out jeans and a shirt gave us our door cards. Didn't ask for my ID or anything. 2 towels in the room.
It was dirty and had a strong smell of a plug in scent
Norhing
Smell cleanliness
room ok
very dirty could not eat there
Not hot water, broken bathroom light, moldy shower curtain, crappy towels, holes in walls and ceilings dirty room. Bed was pretty comfortable but bedding and pillows weren't great. Breakfast a joke and terrible only bread products or cereal or waddle and watered down nasty coffee and juices. No proteins not even peanut butter.
Probably the worst hotel I've used: bathroom and bedroom haven't been maintained. very slow drain, deteriorating plaster, tiny towels and one dusting cloth substituted for a face towel. Recommend avoiding.
Nice rooms as expected and staff were nice.
