The Adina apartment hotel is on the waterfront in Darwin, so bring your swimmers, they have a variety of areas where you can swim including the hotel pool. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance. Take your umbrella if you walk as rain is very unpredictable in Darwin,

Very handy to shops and parking a breeze
Access
On check-in we asked if the full amount we were paying was inclusive of parking for our three nights - yes confirmed - yet when we checked out we were presented with a bill for parking. Annoying.
But our major issue was the aircon. The first night the aircon was so loud even when the system was apparently completely shut off. The noise in the bedroom was berserk - hence no sleep. It sounded like a street sweeper operating all night long. The manager was polite and understanding and we were able to change rooms but even then the sound of the extraction grate rattled in the lounge room!!! At least it wasn’t in the bedroom. It’s a really shocking system!
Also, over Easter they serviced the room only on the Saturday. It seems they may only service rooms every 3-4 days anyway??? But in any case, it meant no new towels and the coffee ran out…. Why pay for three nights at the same rate for each night but you only get servicing on one day and the other days you have to go and ask for things you need, which, frankly, we couldn’t be bothered doing!! It’s not a good holiday feeling …. Further diminished by the fact that the grout in the bathroom floor tiles is filthy, the rooms smell musty generally (mind you the hallway and reception smell is pleasant) and the towels leave lint over everything.
The ‘Ink and Water’ tea and amber bathroom products are nice. And the location is excellent, as is the convenience of the on site parking (despite the charging muck-up) but those factors aren’t enough for us to want to return again unfortunately.
Time to look for other ‘fish in the Darwin hotels sea’….
The location is very central with lots of restaurants and things to do close by. Room was very neat and tidy with a lovely view of harbour.
Pool area needs updating and more shade. Restaurant area in hotel was extremely small and limited.

Location was great, view from balcony was great. Staff very helpful in ordering taxis to lending an umbrella. Walking distance to town and lots of local eateries
Room smelled a bit damp but that was dealt with and we were a new room but the spray they used and left with us fixed the issue.
