Pros:

Camera spaziosa e bel bagno. Molto vicino a Queen Victoria Market

Cons:

L’ingresso è abbastanza triste, fa pensare ad un hotel di livello più basso. Mentre le stanze e in generale la struttura è buona.

Excellent site for excursions of close by attractions, best markets just down the road, and lots of places to eat out ju
Pros:

It was a reasonable price, with the small kitchen an excellent option, it was close to many sightseeing options, Queen Victoria Markets, the International Garden Show, the State Library etc.

Cons:

The TV reception was not good, as there were no channel 7 stations available, and very basic entertainment.

Budget hotel masquerading as a Mercure
Pros:

The lobby, lifts and corridors are tired, needing new paint and carpet.
Reception is closed before 8am, which is a problem if your room card stops working as mine did, which apparently happens often. Suddenly you’re locked out with no reception staff.
There’s no restaurant- not even breakfast- or gym.
The location is convenient, although the street has a back alley vibe. It’s very mildly scary at night.
My room was ok, small, clean enough, and had a very limited but useful kitchenette.

Below average.
Pros:

Staff were helpful, especially housekeeping. Location is handy to Queen Victoria Market. Rooms look out to sunset.

Cons:

Hotel feels rundown, in need of love and renovation. No gym. Restaurant is abandoned. Hallways are dim and feel rough. Lift has faded old posters in it. Shower was broken.
