Una gran opción calidad-precio, lo tiene todo.
Pros:

La zona es su mayor virtud, estás ubicado en la plaza principal, saliendo del hotel ya tienes frente a ti la parroquia de la ciudad.

Un hotel muy bonito, limpio, bien decorado, con todas las comodidades que puede esperar de una gran hotel.
Personal muy amable y con disposición de ayudarte.

La habitación que se me asigno contaba con 2 camas muy comodas, perfecto para viajar en familia. Todo el lugar en perfectas condiciones.

Es un lugar bonito, con precio muy accesible que tendría como primera opción para viajes a la ciudad.

Cons:

Cuando llegas al lugar quizá no lo encuentres al primer vistazo, esto debido a que cambiaron el nombre del hotel a "Hotel Crisol". Si bien no es algo necesariamente malo, quizá te genere confusión de no encontrarlo, pero ahí se encuentra.

Si vas con maletas, solicita ayuda, las escalera de acceso y salida del hotel son algo pesadas de subir/bajar.

La habitación asignada no fue la mostrada en las fotos del lugar, era una diferente. No es necesariamente malo, pero si vas con la idea de tener el balcón de las fotos mostradas, sugiero preguntar con tiempo la disponibilidad de la misma.

Mi habitación asignada daba con ventanas justo al lobby del hotel, lo que ocasionaba que pudiera oir conversaciones del equipo administrativo con frecuencia. Nada molesto en si, pero probablemente el ruido que hagas, también lo puedan oir.

Good location in San Miguel de Allende.
Pros:

The location is on the square The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The bed comfortable.

Cons:

The access from the sidewalk is steep stairs without sufficient railing at bottom and at the top. Both of our rooms had steps up or down within the room Accessibility was a problem.

Small, boutique Hotel in the city center
Pros:

I’m not sure why the average ratings. Small, boutique hotel that has a nice bed and bathroom. You do have to bring your luggage up steps and it would be nice if they had a Bellman, but I can’t think of many negatives here. The location is amazing.

Nice Hotel, very romantic
Pros:

Excellent location, beautiful room and very comfortable!

Cons:

Although for me was not a problem, my room was in front of the main square.. during the night always there are too much noise due to restaurants and mariachis playing until 3am. The hotel could consider to put windows against noises for a better stay. In addition they don’t have breakfast included… would be much better with that service. The entrance to the hotel is not comfortable; It’s necessary to go up several stairs to get the lobby… in my case we had a heavy luggage and it was very uncomfortable and difficult to take it to the lobby.

You cannot reach the hotel by car and they will charge you parking per day. They will also ask you for a deposit although it is not mentioned at the time of booking. There was construction happening right outside our door during our stay. Unfortunately I did not enjoy my stay here.

Un hotel pequeño, moderno pero muy escondido y dificil de ubicar!
Pros:

La ubicacion del hotel es excelente, practicamente en contra esquina de la parroquia. Las instalaciones son modernas y limpias.

Cons:

El hotel se encuentra en plena remodelacion, por lo que tenian bloqueado el acceso a la azotea, asi como materiales de construccion en los pasillos. No cuentan con elevador y para ser un hotel que su lobby esta en un segundo piso (que por cierto, las escaleras con muy angostas y bastante inclinadas), lo que dificulta el mover maletas. En el hotel el nombre es "Crisol" y es muy dificil ubicarlo ya que tiene un letrero muy pequeno

The hotel is right in the heart of San Miguel next to the cathedral of San Miguel Arcángel. But besides that the hotel is horrible. 1st there is no sing of the hotel name on the outside. It is label crisol not hotel del portal. 1500 pesos deposit if case you brake something. Room is super small. 5 power outlets total one didn’t work. Tv was not connected to cable or power. Hangers super tall if you are 6 feet tall they might work for you. I am 5’ 9” tall barely reached the hangers. Two bed room but tv wasn’t visible from the second bed. My windows were next to reception. So I was hable to hear everything till midnight and same thing after 7 am the next day. No wifi was provided to me at all. Bathroom was super small, when you sit on toilet your knees almost hit the wall. No space near sink to place toothbrush or lotion. Worst the bathroom door drag on the floor. So every time you need to use the bathroom at middle of night. I’ll wake up all my family member. Stay away from this hotel. Not worth it. Expedia says Junior suite. When you get there you get a standard room. Picture of property are not real at least talking about the Jr suite.
