Hampton Inn & Suites Cleveland-Mentor

I did not like that. Booking.com booked the room for me. They overbooked it and then I couldn't get a hold of them and I was stuck in another city. I don't live in and had no choice but to take the room but paid the higher price of the better room that I booked through booking.com in the first place. I called. Got AI. I went to booking.com help got AI requested them to contact The Hampton inn they did not. I had no choice but to stay in a room pay a higher premium for a lesser room because I had nowhere else to go. I needed an ADA room. It was not available. Shame on booking.com they gave me no help and no support. It was completely their fault. They ruined my boyfriend's birthday. They ruined hours of my day trying to contact them yesterday so we did not get to do the activities that we planned. The survey is full of loaded questions because I don't have the chance to say N/A
I have two complaints about the room one. The toilet is so small. I am so short but disabled so it was hard for me to in the shower is weak.

Bed was a little firm for my liking. Would have liked a couple more pillows.

I didn’t like the fridge. It was noisy, outside a cabinet(which would have helped with the noise), and didn’t have a freezer.

We booked 3 nights, but left early due to there being no hot water.

Got up Sunday morning and the shower was ice cold.

I traveled from Georgia to Ohio to be disappointed with my room. I didn't like my room because it was not the King studio suite that I booked. You put three adults in a King 1 bed. I had to sleep on a roll away cot that has been worn out so that you can feel the springs. The sheet on the roll away cot didn't properly fit. When I called the front desk I was told that they couldn't help me and the hotel was booked up. There was no number for me to call and speak with anyone through booking.com. So yes I'm not happy. The bath towels, bath mats and wash cloths are old (constant washing to keep somewhat fresh) all needs replacing with fresh and new. The stainless steel elevator doors (Inside the elevators) need daily cleaning from hand prints and smears. The lighting in the room was not enough. The bathroom does not have exhaust vents. I found an eyelash under the sink next to the spare toilet tissue. Hair on the floor around the toilet. The bathroom floor needed better cleaning. Carpets in the room need shampooing (Cleaning) at least twice a month, three times tops, along with vacuuming. The complementary breakfast was great except on check out Sunday the hot food egg frittata's were not labeled with pork added. Not all guests eat pork (I don't) or other meat. I'm a pescatarian so I don't eat pork, chicken, lamb, beef, nor turkey. With the amount of rooms there should be more than two luggage carts in the hotel, along with signage saying return luggage carts after using.

Updated property, rooms were modern. Only negative was bathroom was not updated, toilet was very low and shower was horrible. Water pressure was horrible. I’m aware that these are water saving shower heads, but this was bad.

what was awful was the water pressure which was very low and the hot waster was warm from the shower and tub. This is the 1st time I have stay at a Hampton Inn and had this problem. the next day I did complain to front desk but nothing was done and no one provided any feedback. Even the rest of the family that stayed in various rooms had the same complaints, not happy at all. Otherwise the Hotel / staff was great. Wouldn't suggest anyone staying there unless they corrected the issue.

Staff was lackadaisical the bed had a big hole that I kept falling into. Needed to be replaced. Staff was unreachable. No one answered the phone and the mailbox was full so I couldn’t leave a message. The toilet seat was crooked and loose and I asked for it to be fixed. It was not.
