The rooms were clean, and bigger than expected. The hotel was quiet on a quiet street, and seemed to be in a safe area. The staff were amazing, and very helpful. The lobby was beautiful and welcoming.
The breakfast dining area was dirty. The tables looked like that hadn’t been cleaned in a while, and there was a pretty thick layer of dust and grime on most surfaces. I did bring it up to the front desk, and she said they’d take care of it that day. I was only there one night, so I don’t know if that was followed through on.
The way in and out of the property was pretty convoluted. It is on a one way street, and trying to get out to go to the interstate was a bit confusing, even with the help of GPS.

The pool area was nice and never crowded.
We traveled with four people in our room and only had two wash rags for our two night stay. We were able to get more by going to the front desk but it would have been nice if we had the right number to begin with.

Front desk clerk was very unhelpful as I dealt with a booking issue with Booking.com. I was traveling out-of-state for a business conference the following day, and although I had booking confirmations and emails from the Hampton “looking forward to my stay”, the hotel had no record of my reservation, and the clerk couldn’t have been less interested in helping me, telling me I didn’t have any information and that I should just deal with Booking.com for assistance. This was a very stressful experience to begin with, so driving five hours to a city I’ve never been to, only to be told I couldn’t stay in the room I booked well in advance put me in a terrible mood. The clerk only became helpful once a manager got involved, who resolved the lengthy situation in less than five minutes.
The moment I get to my room, the tv screen says, “Welcome, IVAN”. People have been getting my name wrong for years, it’s not a big deal, but I’ve worked in customer service for a long time: if you ruin someone’s experience with poor service and tech issues, then it’d at least be a nice touch to get the disgruntled patron’s THREE LETTER NAME RIGHT.

Hampton Inns have always been superior in quality for us. This hotel kept up that high standard: Very courteous & professional staff - from Front Desk to breakfast Service worker. Food offerings at breakfast were plentiful + great variety.
Hampton pricing is often at the higher end of the scale.... and most always worth it. So it was at this site.
I always stay here for any staycations I may take! Love it
