Delmon International Hotel

Moorish style hotel- bit frail on the edges, bathroom require upgrading with low water pressure and lukewarm hot water supply.
Ok for a couple of days
Area is downtown near the Bahrain Gate and local souk.
For a total chill and relaxation I would recommend Seef or near to the Avenues Shopping Mall.

Great location. Food could have been better and alternative options would have been appreciated. Nice big rooms and friendly staff.

Great location. Rooms are large with a view of the city. A 5 minute walk to city center. Gold city is across from hotel. Next to that is the largest Souq in the country. Parking is available. There’s a travel agent on site. Restaurants on site too but many places to eat within walking distance..

The Delmon International is an excellent hotel; however, on the night of Thursday, December 1st, I was kept awake until 3:00 a.m. by loud music and noise in the clubs on the ground floor. After 3:00 a.m., a loud-mouthed neighbor kept me awake for three more hours. Staying at this hotel on a Thursday night, it appears, will not lead to a good night's sleep.

The Delmon is not for everybody. It’s older and could use some refurbishment. However the staff is some of the best. And the rock and roll club is too notch. It’s not my last time visiting

I like the club and there is a restaurant I like right behind it

Great location near the old Souq in Manama. Will probably be my go to hotel whenever I find myself in Bahrain. Staff also very friendly and helpful

I stayed in the Delmon International for 2 Night. Overall I had a OK experience.

Staff where friendly and polite and allowed me a late checkout.

Room was clean but both the room and the hotel itself are showing signs of there age now. There was no Tea and Coffee facilities in the room but I asked reception and one was provided for me. Shower pressure was very poor too.

Most of the facilities where closed due to the current situation.

Plenty of cheap eating in the local area.

Best Breakfast I've had in Bahrain yet.

1. Not a place for families or new tourists:
They didn't let a food delivery guy come to my room but there was a lady in the 2nd floor lobby offering 'her services'
2. Nothing eatable
Not a 'good' menue
For my whole stay i ate out, twice i picked up the menue to order but couldn't come to order because there wasn't anything particulraly good
3. Very loud music untill 2AM
There's night club on ground floor that goes on an on untill morning 2AM. No way you can sleep before that time
4. Houekeeping was good
Clean and clear and fast. Room was good as well

All the hotel smells smooking and alcohol. Noisy and drunk people everywhere.

reception was very unprofessional very slow rooms are very old ac premature has no control only the fan speed house keeping never replied guests coming for a meeting were asked to pay some 5 BD to be allowed to come to meet me breakfast as per my booking was as addressed free were the front desk rejected and insisted that i pay 4 BD to have it
in short it was a disaster experience in this hotel

Parking is a nightmare but with any luck can get space in front of the hotel to arrange valet parking

Location is fantastic, right next to lots of shopping and Manama Souq buzzling with activities. Limited parking but valet parking available. Hotel had ample time to get our room ready as we turned up early, but went to walk around and returned much later after check-in time, but was given a smoking room when I specifically requested for a non-smoking room, and front desk didn't even ask or tell us it was a smoking room. Tried to bear with the room initially, until even the pillow was reeked with smoking smell, and upon calling the front desk did I find out that it was a smoking room. 1st response was that they were out of non-smoking rm, and when I insisted that I booked a non-smoking rm, agreed to move us an hour later. Other than this, rest of stay was ok since it was nice walking around the area.

Old hotel in the old part of the city.,I like the location because I can walk everywhere I need to go, gold shops and all......the shopping at the mall is the same over the world. Bahrain has that too. Many upscale int shops a cheap ride away. Delmon is a great choice for me..good rest.
