Hotel auf dem Land mit viel Charme, wir kommen wieder :-)
Pros:

Ist ein gemütliches Hotel mit sehr viel Charme. Man bekommt auch am späteren Abend noch völlig selbstverständlich einen Schlummertrunk und das Frühstück war auch gut.

Pros:

Herzensgute Gastgeber, die versuchen, jede Frage zu beantworten und die tolle Tipps (Restaurant, Einkaufsmöglichkeit) geben. Zimmer mit angenehmer Größe. Haus mit viel Deko verschiedener Stilrichtungen. Gute Auswahl zum Frühstück.

Week end nella foresta nera
Pros:

La posizione dell hotel è strategica perché al limite della foresta nera e a due passi da Shaffussa e le cascate del Reno. Gli host propongono un menu locale molto semplice . Se si è alla ricerca di qualcosa di più elaborato i proprietari consigliano ristoranti della zona. Camera molto semplice ma pulita. Ottimo per chi cerca soluzioni relax in campagna. Io ho viaggiato con il mio cane labrador e la struttura e assolutamente adatta ad ospitare cani. Colazione ricca con prodotti anche locali.

Cons:

La camera ancorché grande e pulita è però un po datata così come il bagno.

Un accueil extrêmement chaleureux et généreux ! Les deux patrons sont très sympas et font tout pour que vous vous sentiez bien. Le lieu perdu dans les montagnes, très agréable, on y dort magnifiquement bien avec grand lit de qualité, les prestations tout à fait à la hauteur !

Pros:

The hosts are amazing. Friendly and both with a sense of humour which made our stay more enjoyable. We initially booked for 1 night but ended up staying for a second as it was bad weather and we wanted a day off the motorbikes. Will definitely be back on my next trip to the Black Forest.

Das Landhaus provided a very enjoyable stay in a quiet village. An ideal stopover.
Pros:

Friendly host, large comfortable room with a good shower and bathroom. Breakfast was very good with mainly local produce. We dined in an excellent restaurant in Sankt Blasien. (The dome is not to be missed.)

Best hotel experience in my 10 days in Germany
Pros:

Wonderful hosts that was warm and welcoming in every interaction and gave me some good tips on where to eat when I arrived and further travel to Switzerland when I left. The room, hotel and surroundings in general were so beautifully old style South German/Schwarzwald-y it was a real treat. I see some call it dated, but I would disagree. Although it's old it's more old like museum-old than outdated. Combined with everything being clean, it was like stepping back in time in a good and pleasant way. I could have easily spent more time there, exploring the area and unwinding. The breakfast was right on par with other German guesthouses, but I would also like to point out the perfect soft boiled egg I got, that came from hens just down the road apparently. I'm usually in and out in 10 minutes with breakfast, but I took my time here. Wifi was also flawless, and parking seemed plentiful for the size of the hotel.

Cons:

No bacon for breakfast, but that seems to be the normal practice in these guest house style hotels.

A great place for a relaxing short holiday.
Pros:

Very nice hotel. The property is beautiful and in a quiet location.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Last but not least: the food was delicious!

Not as calm as announced.
Pros:

A nice Black Forest village and surroundings.

Cons:

Advertising as cosy and calm (gemuetlich und ruehig) this hotel offers groups to organize karaoke evenings... We had bad luck of arriving at one of them. They stopped music at 10PM at our request, but we had to hear unpolite comments of the staff about our being "of a different world". So if you are not of the "world" of karaoke lovers, better check with them before you book. For us, this was lost money.
