The place has real potential but the presentation lets it down. Great staff though!!
Pros:

The staff were very helpful and friendly

Cons:

The rooms were very old and dated. It seemed that maintenance and upkeep has not been done for a while. It was disappointing given the cost for the room. Breakfast on the second day was very poor. The food kept running out and it took a long time to get replenished. Even the water took 20minutes to top up.

Perfect in all ways
Pros:

Beds were super comfy and shower pressure was amazing! All the staff were wonderful, friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. We got the full continental breakfast and we'll, what can I say, it was fantastic! We all left with full bellies ready for a big day of exploring the wonderful North Island. To top it all off on our last morning I got to see and hear Tui right outside our room, it was magical.

That we didn't stay longer!

Pros:

The bed was excellent, the shower pressure was perfect. The room was a great size. Really liked the terrace outside. Nice size mirrors.

Cons:

Bathroom rubber needed replacing and the toilet rim needed cleaning. The fan in the bathroom was super noisy

Pros:

The staff

Cons:

The exterior of the place was full of mould. The hand towel rail, the sink plug & the door handle in the bathroom were broken.
The bed was so uncomfortable that we kept falling into the middle of it and the pillows need replacing.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We love Paihia - we were out & about a lot so it was just a place to sleep - and was great for that
Pros:

Stayed here for Waitangi weekend - close to beach. Staff were lovely - kids loved the pool

Cons:

It’s a little bit tired but everything else made up for it

Tired facilities but reasonable location.
Pros:

Breakfast was more than acceptable.

Cons:

The rooms were very dark and needed upgrading. The bathroom was dirty with the exhaust fan looking as if it never had been cleaned.

Had een kingbed geboekt en kreeg een kamer met queenbed, maar werd snel opgelost.
