Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Zimmer. Großzügige Räume.

Cons:

Der Gesamteindruck. Wir würden nicht wieder buchen.

Scenic for the win!!!
Pros:

The rooms had comfy beds, aircon. Pool for bombs! The best bombing pool around! Delicious kai. Outstanding location. Pet-friendly. Family friendly ❤️

Cons:

I would've liked to have cutlery, a microwave and plates in our room.

Gute Betten in den Komfortzimmern, ruhig, Lage nicht weit vom Strand

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist schlecht - wenig frisches Obst (in Neuseeland!), Eier nur ganz simple und nicht doll schmackhaft, KEIN Käse! oder Wurst, ist das Geld nicht wert…hatten wir besser in anderen Scenic ins Pancake Rocks war sehr gut, sollte man mal adaptieren!

Pros:

Facility’s good

Cons:

Bad service, we get to the reception 20mins earlier, cuz our daughter got car sick, and were not allowed to check in a little bit earlier. What made it worse was it take us another 20 mins to check in cuz the staff did not know how to process it. It sucks!

Gutes Hotel für Kurzaufenthalt
Pros:

Die Zimmer sind größzügig , die Terrasse ist mini und eher ein Abstellplatz, nicht sehr einladend. Betten waren für uns etwas zu weich. Frühstück günstig das Angebot eher einfach.

Great location of hotel, away from the noise. Room 502, perfect spot, end of row with easy access to outside and vehicle.

Cons:

When cleaning staff entered room early morning without phoning? to check if the room was vacant or not.
Not happy.

Pros:

The hotel is very good, well positioned for an easy walk to the beach, shops and cafes. The swimming pool was refreshing after a day out and the staff were fantastic.

Cons:

The hotel caters for bus tours, so there could be a bit of early morning noise as they load up for departure, although overall the place was quiet and relaxing.

Front deck staff should be nice and helpful

The front office lady wasn’t helpful. Lots of attitude and poor customer service. She would be in her 50s. Unsure of her name. I booked this hotel just because they advertised that it has a Tesla charging station. However when I got there I realised that the Charing station didn’t have any cables and it was kept at the reception. If you want to charge your car you have to go and collect the cable from the reception.
The station was not super charging station therefore it takes 5 to 6 hours to fully charge your car. Since I was travelling all the way from Auckland I wanted to charge my car 100% to get back here next day. I approached the reception around 7.30pm to put the car on charge. The lady at the reception was hesitant to hand over the cable ( unsure why)but firm that she wanted the cables back before 10pm. Unsure why she didn’t allow me to keep the cable overnight so that i could charge my car overnight. This single incident affected my whole trip alot as I had to travel to a different location just to charge my car before Harding back to Auckland.
