It's very clean and the elevator is quite unique. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, like really. If not the noise, I'd sleep great.
It's not good value for money and looks much better in the photos. Very noisy, no soundproof whatsoever. The room is quite small. The noise comes from the street and within the hotel. There is a bar and restaurant, so if they have a party, you'll have to wait until it stops. It's at the crossroads, so expect cars honking, streetcars stopping and announcing stops, assisted crossing signals beeping, and occasional screaming from people on the street passing by. It's Queen Street in Toronto, it's busy day and night. Also it's quite far from all touristy things if you're in Toronto for that, so expect to spend like 40 min in a streetcar one way if you want to see the CN tower and the downtown.

Room should have had a dresser and/or a table other than coffee table to put down keys, wallets, bags. More places to put clothes for two people staying three days.
It’s a very lovely and with lot love to details renovated. Rooms a delightful designed. Breakfast menu is small but items are delicious.
The location…yes there’s a tramway im front of the hotel but it takes depending on traffic 20-35min eben though it’s just about 2.5km. The rooms are small. Though bed is big and comfy. Staff is nice but not outgoing nice. No hello when entering the hotel from the reception. I bought a late check out at 1pm (that’s okay-ish) but 10min past 1pm they already knocked on my door
They have an old crank elevator that was nice to experience, and all the staff were friendly. I didn’t get to check it out but they also had a bar and it seemed pretty lively.
It was tough getting to bed the one night but there are reviews mentioning bringing headphones for sleep.

Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig, gemütlich, bequem und sauber.

The Hotel has a great location. Very beautiful interior design and an amasing old elevator! The place were modern and vintage live side by side. Clean rooms and really comfy bed.
Personall was very friendly and nice.
The only thing we didn't like: because of old windows it was very loud in the morning.

Breakfast was lovely but we felt sorry for the poor waiter - he was amazing but run off his feet. Very apologetic but we could tell he was too busy

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are lovely. I was worried as my room was at the front of the building, that the train would keep me up but I'm a light sleeper and I slept through it all which was fantastic.
No complaints or feedback.
The hotel was really a lovely aesthetic experience, rather than just a place to sleep. We really enjoyed being there! The abundant art is very cool and the design of the room is great. (The bed was incredibly comfortable, too.) The location is wonderful—we walked just about everywhere. We also appreciated the billiard table on our floor, as well as the balcony one flight down.
I liked it all! One thing I'll mention for other travelers: there is a beautiful vintage elevator that requires an elevator operator, which is usually one of the people at the front desk. This was kind of part of the whole experience, and usually just takes a moment, or you can walk up the stairs. But if you just want to press a button and not talk to anyone when you come in, you should probably be aware.
