This hotel is SUCH a mixed bag — but in a “still worth it” kind of way 😅✨
📍 The location is honestly incredible. Right next to the central station 🚉 so everything is EASY — trains to Como, metro into the city, buses to the airport… all right there. You really couldn’t ask for better. There’s also a convenience store next door 🏪 (lifesaver for snacks, water, adapters), and two restaurants right in front 🍝 which makes everything super convenient.
The room itself? I had a single and it was SO cute 🥹 Small, yes — but clean, cosy, and well kept. They cleaned it every single day and gave fresh towels 🧼 which I loved. Also, the body soap in the bathroom was actually really nice (small detail but appreciated 👌). And £200 for 4 nights?? That’s amazing value 💸🔥
BUT — a few things did take away from the experience…
💧 The water situation was frustrating. They didn’t leave water in the room after cleaning, so I had to call reception every time. Even when I asked for two bottles, I’d only get one small one 😐 After a point, I just gave up and started buying my own.
🚿 The shower was TINY. Like… barely enough space to move. Definitely not the most comfortable.
🪟 The shutter in my room didn’t work. I was told it would be fixed, but it never was 🤷♀️
🔊 And because the location is so central, it can get quite noisy. There’s always something going on outside, so if you’re a light sleeper — bring earplugs 😴
💸 Also worth noting: there’s a city tax (around £7 per day) you pay at checkout, which is standard in Italy.
Cerca de la estación de trenes, oferta de restaurantes muy cerca.
Todo bien
Convenient location near the station, friendly staff, 24-hour reception, very nice rooms
La ubicación cerquita de la boca de metro y de la Estación Milano Centrale y la comodidad de la habitación
Localização, aspecto, tudo o necessário
Stanza molto bella, pulita e ordinata.
Nulla di particolare.
I didn't get murdered in the night.
Absolute scam of a place. To list just a few issues:
- The evening staff tried to scam us on check in*
- The carpets all over the hotel are disgusting
- The walls in the corridors are cracked, it looks derilict
- The toilet doesn't flush, you have to turn it and hold it a weird way that takes the flush handle off the wall and leaves a hole in the wall behind the toilet!
- They messaged after the free cancellation period ended to then say they only have AC in the 3 Summer months. So even though it was so hot in Spring, we had no AC. We had to open the windows, and then got bit by loads of mosquitos
- They made us give them the key every time we left the hotel and then when asking for it back, they don't check your name or ID or anything. You just announce your room number for all to hear, and so anyone could very easily take your key and enter your room (the staff were different each time we entered). Including the staff being able to enter your room if they wanted to steal (many reviews earlier mention theft)
- They charge to store your luggage after check out and don't store it in a secure location
- The "slippers" were paper thin, a waste of space
- The lift is tiny and disgusting
- The train station was meant to be a convenient location for us to stay but it's SO UNSAFE that it's just not worth it. Had we known how rough the area would be in the evenings, we would have stayed elsewhere regardless of the cost/ convenience
* He tried to charge us 200€ for a room we'd already paid for that cost less; when we pushed back he then tried to charge us another excessive amount for local tax which he said was cash only and has to be paid now. Again when we pushed back, he then acted like nothing happened (for ref. you can pay local tax on check out and pay by card!). He took our passports for check in and then asked us to leave them with him!
Very conveniently located near the Milano centrale station, but very quiet. My room was small but comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
I might have been missing something obvious but I wasn't able to fully close the shutter on the outside window. There were semi-sweet curtains that still mostly provided privacy, but it would have been good to be able to close the shutter as well.
amplasare excelenta pentru transferul de la aeroport si gara centrala; zona foarte buna, sigura! micul dejun nu l-am servit datorita programului.
The hotel is close to Milano Centrale. Our room was well laid out but quite small. Extremely clean though - can't fault the cleanliness at all.
The bed was rock solid so we found it extremely uncomfortable. The room was too warm and we couldn't get the air conditioning to work so had to sleep with the window open.
