Solo Stay 2 nights in Feb
Pros:

I stayed at Hotel Piacenza for two nights at the end of February. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and spoke very good English, so there were no communication issues at all. I didn’t try the breakfast as I chose to eat out, and I spent very little time in the hotel overall, but it worked well as a comfortable base to rest my head after exploring the city.

The room was small but nice and comfortable, and it had everything I needed. The minibar was a great addition and I appreciated having cold water available after long days out.

The location was also a highlight. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of Milan’s main tourist areas, which made it feel like a more authentic and quiet Italian neighbourhood. At the same time, it was still very convenient for getting around — about a 5-minute walk to the metro, then roughly a 10-minute train journey into the centre, or around 20 minutes by rented electric bike or scooter.

The hotel kindly allowed me to leave my luggage after check-out so I could explore the city before my train, which I appreciated.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would likely stay here again.

Cons:

One small downside was that the room could have been a bit cleaner, as there was a noticeable layer of dust on some of the furniture surfaces.

When I returned to collect my bag the doors were locked. I was in a bit of a rush and nearly missed my train, which was a little stressful, although someone eventually answered and I was able to collect my bag just in time.

Esta a 10 minutos a pie de la estación de subte Porta Romana.Linda zona,bien ubicado. Es un lindo hotel,muy amable su personal. Tiene un desayuno muy bueno y variado.

Staff were excellent. Very friendly and welcoming. Great location. Porta Romana area has lots of great restaurants and other amenities.

Cons:

Room was quite small and the bathroom was very small. Pictures online didn’t express this accurately.
