Amazing breakfast - such a peaceful hotel !
Everything. Such a beautiful hotel. Couldn’t fault anything. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Would certainly recommend. Perfect location to the Lake and town.
Absolutely nothing
As we were there for five nights this really needed to be a great place to stay and it excelled on all fronts! Great location, superb food and absolutely amazing staff - some of whom we saw regularly, and so got to chat to them more - they really made us feel welcomed and as though we were in a ‘home from home’. Room was wonderful, and the pools were very much appreciated in the hot weather. We were lucky enough to arrive as the Miglia 1000 went past and enjoyed a brilliant afternoon watching the race go past our front door! Very much an added bonus! Only 20 minutes walk to the railway station made getting out to other destinations a good option. Really hope we can return some day 😊

The beautiful gardens and pools
Breakfast was excellent - so was dinner.
Very pleasant garden area with heated pool and nice shade from trees, and bigger regular pool at the front. Excellent staff. Convenient location only a few minutes walk from the town and lake, and a 5 min taxi ride to the railway station. Comprehensive and tasty breakfast.
While the breakfast is great, the same can unfortunately not be said about luch and dinner, which are more of average quality. The hotel management has a great opportunity for improvement in that area. Luckily there are several pretty good restaurants around town.
Loved our stay at Piccola Vela! The staff were amazing! We loved the pools and the location was good, walking distance into town and we even were able to hire bikes from them too! I got a massage at the spa which was lovely and the breakfast each morning was delicious! Massive shout out to Adam at the front desk for helping us with our hire car issues upon departure, we really appreciated all the effort he went to.
It's not that we didn't like this and nothing went wrong but I would say that it's probably better suited to older kids. We had our 8 and 5 year old daughters with us and the staff were really friendly and lovely to them but most of the guests had no children and the restaurant area was upscale, the vibe of the place seemed more posh which is totally fine, I just felt like my kids would make too much noise for the other guests.
Perfect location and beautifully kept hotel but it’s the staff that take it to the next level. Courteous and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend.
