Gem of a hotel - A beautiful stay in the heart of Desenzano – truly memorable
Pros:

We had the most amazing stay at Hotel Piroscafo and honestly didn’t want to leave. The location is absolutely perfect – right on the little harbour with stunning views from the balcony, especially in the evening when everything is lit up. It genuinely felt like staying in a postcard.
Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, and waking up to that view each morning was a real highlight. The room was cleaned daily, beds made and everything restocked, which made the stay feel really well looked after.
We had breakfast included, which was continental and absolutely perfect to start the day – fresh, simple and exactly what you need before heading out exploring.
The hotel is in a great spot with everything on your doorstep – restaurants, shops and ferry access nearby. The ferry point is literally a 2–3 minute walk away, which made it so easy for us to explore other towns around Lake Garda without any hassle.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants right near the hotel, and we ate in a few of them – all were very good, so you really can’t go wrong. The only thing to be aware of is that many don’t open until around 7–7:30pm, so it’s worth planning around that.
All the staff were very pleasant and welcoming throughout our stay, which really added to the experience. Even the minibar prices were very reasonable, which was a nice surprise compared to most hotels.
Despite being in a central location, we didn’t find it noisy at all in the evenings – everything seemed to wind down nicely, so we slept really well.
Overall, we had such a lovely experience and would absolutely stay here again. It really made our trip special.

Cons:

If we had one small suggestion, it would be the addition of a full-length mirror in the room. There is a large mirror in the bathroom, but having one in the main room or near the dressing area would be really helpful.

Se pare ca in italia cand alegi un budget hotel nu poți avea așteptări prea mari,geamul camerei dădea exact într-o alee pe unde trecea toată lumea deci nu l.am putut deschide,la fel furnici credca au o problema cu furnicile.micul un sărăcie rau,chiar daca este gratuit nh ai ce sa mananci. plus o grămadă de taxe și parcarea la jumate de km distanta bineînțeles plătită

Pros:

Super Lage direkt am kleinen Hafen. Sehr bequemes Bett. Großzügiges Bad. Viele Restaurants und Bars in der Umgebung.

Great hotel on lake garda promenade
Pros:

Location on the lake garda promenade was excellent. Rooms were big and clean. Bathroom was also premium.

Cons:

No kitchen meant no hot omelette or pancake. Limited european spread for breakfast though everything was very tasty. Also it is around 1.2 kms from the train station with a downhill walk but going back you would need a taxi as it is all uphill. Also we got triple rooms which were great but had no views.

Schöne Lage
Pros:

Die Lage direkt in der Innenstadt ist sehr schön.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist in den 70igern stecken geblieben. Das Frühstück ist recht einfach gehalten und nicht mehr zeitgemäß.
