It's a tired hotel on the edge of Gardone (20 minute walk into the old town), food good.
Pros:

Great views of the lake; very clean room; great air con in the rooms; some of the staff were great

Cons:

hotel grounds are scruffy - needs more attention to the gardens and planting; tired building; hotel management rather officious

Un grande BOH
Pros:

Il parco che circonda la struttura è da sogno, sembra di stare in un piccolo paradiso; la piscina esterna è molto bella, ma comunque piccola per l’entità della struttura. Anche la spa è molto bella e ben organizzata, ma l’acqua della piscina interna è davvero troppo fredda! In più, ci tengo a precisare che molte informazioni che si trovano su internet sono errate: NON si paga un sovrapprezzo per entrare nella spa, e il prezzo della camera di appoggio è di 50€ a camera, NON il 50% del prezzo del soggiorno.

Cons:

Il personale non è né particolarmente disponibile, nè molto informato sulle iniziative del paese (nessuno ci ha detto che ci sarebbe stata la festa del Lago di Garda, lo abbiamo scoperto una volta tornate a casa); quando abbiamo chiesto se ci fossero dei traghetti per attraversare il Lago, ci è stato consigliato di andare a piedi fino in centro (l’albergo è in una posizione sopraelevata e la strada per raggiungerlo è ripidissima) e non ci è stato nemmeno indicato il nome di una stazione marittima a cui poterci rivolgere. Ci sono stati commenti inopportuni da parte di un cameriere; l’albergo, grande e su piú strutture non collegate tra loro, NON è minimamente agibile in caso di problemi motori (no rampe, no ascensori). Colazione scarsa, poco variata e con la parte salata che sembrava vecchia; stipiti delle porte gonfi (ci siamo ritrovate uno scarafaggio in una delle camere). Una parte della struttura del letto si staccava (in una delle 2 camere), la vasca non aveva la tenda o simili. Diciamo che per 200€ a notte ci si aspetta delle accortezze in più.

Pros:

Das Bett war extrem unbequem und es gab quasi keine Decke. Meine Partnerin und ich haben die ganze Nacht entweder gefroren oder eben versucht einen Deckenersatz zu finden. Das Personal konnte kaum Englisch, so dass wir mit denen auch wenig reden konnten. Unser Zimmer war zudem bedeckt von einem Baum, so dass wir auch keinen versprochenen Meerblick hatten. Zudem wurde ständig geraucht, so dass wir die Fenster nicht öffnen konnten ohne mitzurauchen. Auch das Frühstück war nicht wirklich beeindruckend, es gab eher wenig Auswahl und die Stühle/Tische waren vermutlich noch aus den 70/80er Jahren erhalten.

Cons:

Leider wurden die Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Insgesamt unbefriedigend bis mangelhaft.

Pros:

ottima posizione immerso nel verde con vista eccezionale sul lago. La camera molto bella, ottima colazione e una spa con piscina coperta ideale per la stagione. La struttura ha un ampio parcheggio privato. Il personale gentile e molto accogliente. Una vacanza da ripetere.

Cons:

c'è stato un problema alla caldaia, che ha determinato un guasto temporaneo alla produzione dell'acqua calda. Risolto in poco tempo. Unico intoppo alla vacanza, che poteva comprometterla, ma è stato risolto in brevissimo tempo.
