Hotel Marconi

We felt very welcome at The Hotel Marconi, as the hospitality from the owners and staff is genuine and sincere. The entire place is so impeccably clean, making it very obvious that they value their guests and take pride in their property. The breakfast is delicious and the views out onto the lake are beautiful. I would return to Sirmione just to stay at this hotel again.

We loved this hotel. Central location in the old town, near boats to take you to other Lake Garda villages and numerous restaurants. Relaxing area right on the lake. Wonderful staff. Fantastic breakfasts

View was amazing, watched some amazing sunsets from my balcony, hotel in a prime location, staff are the nicest people and are so helpful. If you have a car, there is a lot of spaces at the front of the hotel. Such a lovely stay and a truly wonderful experience

Very welcoming owner and staff. Our 16 month old granddaughter was treated like royalty. Toys were brought out and our dining table was preset to include a child friendly setting complete with activities. Beautiful setting right on the lake. Parking on site; however, while not in control by the hotel, driving into the historical district with its very narrow streets full of pedestrians is both challenging and nerve-wracking.

We loved our stay at Hotel Marconi. The hotel is central near the castle, but very quiet. The deck at the front of the hotel allows for panoramic views of the Lake, and you can swim and relax on beach lounge chairs. Breakfast was fabulous, as was dinner. All the food is home made using fresh ingredients. Our room was on the second floor (there is a lift) with a balcony and a partial view of the lake. The Reception staff were very welcoming, giving us a map and marking off areas that we should see. They were also very informative about the ferry service.

Hotel is situated on the shore of lake Garda and has a terrace by the water. One can swim in the lake from this terrace or relax in the sun. Lake view is also amazing. We likes breakfast on the terrace. Parking was possible by the hotel entrance. Bar at the hotel was open late. We had an excellent stay overall.

Hotel Marconi is an incredible hotel. The location is second to none- 5 mins walk to both the Terme and all the restaurants, bars and the castle. however, the thing that stands out is the wonderful family that run the hotel. The service is literally exceptional, the food incredible (both breakfast and we would so recommend having dinner there!) and the terrace looking onto the lake so beautiful. we could not recommend the hotel more highly. The family are so thoughtful and made the whole experience so special, relaxing and an absolute joy to experience. thank you so much to the family :) the rooms are lovely and clean and the interior design so thoughtful and cosy. The hotel also accepts dogs which is cool. They are just the best hoteliers we have ever had the fortunate to experience. I wish we could come back every weekend!

We also had the best dinner there- the food was exceptional and so so much better than any touristy place!!

This hotel is a calm quiet oasis in the heart of Sirmione old town on the lake edge. We had a lake view room which I'm sure helped our opinion.The hotel is about 5 mins from the ferry terminal. We arrived about 4pm and Sirmione old town at that time is heaving with tourists. Having negotiated the crowds on the main street the hotel was a joy. The room was maybe a little basic and the bathroom needed some tlc but fully functioning air conditioning a comfortable bed a lake facing room and balcony more than made up for the very minor thoughts about the room. Staff were lovely, breakfast was plentiful, tasty and taken at the lakeside. I believe all the cakes were homemade. We retired to the hotel each day in the afternoon, to get away from the crowds and sit by the lake with a drink. It was a joy to be able to do so If we were ever to go to Sirmione again we would stay here without hesitation.

We are a couple from Lithuania, and our stay at this hotel was simply unforgettable.

Location: The hotel is situated in a perfect spot right on the lake, in the heart of the old town. It offers the closest and most direct access to Lake Garda, with a beautiful private pier where you can relax or swim directly from the hotel. Despite being so central, the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing — truly the best of both worlds.

Staff & Owners: The staff was absolutely wonderful — kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The owners themselves are incredibly warm-hearted, always smiling, attentive, and genuinely caring. They made us feel like part of the family, and their presence gave the place a special charm and comfort.

Breakfast: Every morning started with a delightful, homemade breakfast, prepared with love and fresh ingredients. It felt like enjoying a traditional breakfast in an Italian home — warm, filling, and delicious.

Dinner: We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and were truly impressed. The food was flavorful and authentic, and the peaceful lakefront atmosphere at sunset made it a truly romantic experience.

Overall: We can honestly say that Hotel Marconi is the best hotel in the area. It combines an unbeatable lakeside location, heartfelt hospitality, delicious food, and an atmosphere that made us feel right at home.

We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic experience on Lake Garda.

Amazing hospitality, charming hotel and the best breakfast. The fresh-squeezed orange juice and eggs were the highlight for me.

What a beautiful setting and a lovely hotel!

We ended up staying here for 4 nights and booked very last minute. The breakfast was incredible (everything is homemade). We had a sea view balcony and it was really quiet.

The only tiny downside for us was the room itself was really small. A bit too small for 2 people but really, when you’re on holiday you hardly spend any time in the room so it didn’t matter to us.

One thing I would suggest for management is to put a no jumping in the lake notice by the jetty because several guests jumped from the pontoon and cut their feet on the rocks because it’s not deep.

An absolutely fabulous hotel. Such a great clear spot on the lake to swim. Plenty of sunbeds for everyone. The owners are delightful and the staff so accommodating. Breakfast was so fresh and a lovely. An amazing experience. I’ve found my new favourite place 😊

What a gem. The room was lovely and the proprietor, his family and team took excellent care of us. The breakfast with a view of the lake included delicious homemade baked goods and the best cappuccino of our trip. The night desk clerk even repaired my sunglasses when they broke. To top it off, we were given fresh baked pastry for our onward journey. We would highly recommend Hotel Marconi!!

As always, a very welcome from Carlos and family. Room was excellent with a dual aspect view over the lake. Breakfast was very good with a good choice on offer. We ate here twice in the evening and the food was excellent. We went out twice too just to stretch the legs and have a change of scene. Nothing is too much trouble here and all the team are extremely helpful and will assist in any way they can.
Sirmione is getting busier each year we feel and hotel Marconi is an oasis from the crowds right on the lake. There is parking for a number of cars if you’re brave enough to drive into the hotel through the narrow streets. We have done it a number of times and it’s not for the faint hearted.
