Amazing unforgettable olympic experience of which Hotel Menardi was the anchor.
Pros:

It was a big and comfortable room with a beautiful mountain view. The restaurant downstairs was excellent and so was the breakfast. The staff were so helpful and accommodating as well. We arrived in a snowstorm but they made sure we were able to reach the property.

Pros:

Great vibe and VERY helpful staff. You can even park your car. We went during the olympics for 1 night and the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding and views all around.

Cons:

A little far to walk to town for me but not for most people.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The staff clearly practice selective treatment based on nationality. At breakfast I noticed that when Italian guests came in, staff would immediately approach them, offer coffee from the machine, and ask which kind they preferred. However, as a foreign tourist, I was only pointed toward the plain black coffee. When I asked for a macchiato, they pretended not to understand.

The same behavior was evident in the restaurant. My friend and I were rushed through our meal, with staff removing items from the table while we were still eating. We felt extremely unwelcome and treated very differently compared to other guests.

For an expensive hotel where all guests pay the same price, this kind of unequal treatment is unacceptable and disappointing. Sadly, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this hotel.

Pros:

Friendly staff, great breakfast with a lot of variety. Excellent location with scenic views and easy walk to shops and food. Very nice extra rooms inside to relax and also outdoors. Easy on site parking.

Cons:

Rooms were not equipped with a tea kettle.
