The hotel is stunning; so tastefully decorated, I loved all the plants dotted about, and the courtyard and bar areas were lovely. The staff couldn't have done more for us, and the room was really comfortable. The bar staff made us some beautiful cocktails during our stay, and the breakfasts perfectly set us up for the day ahead. It's everything we wanted!

Charming small hotel with high standards.
Pros:

A charming, family-owned hotel, not far from Harry's Bar. A short walk from the San Marco water taxi station down a short sidestreet amongst the exclusive shops. The staff on the reception desk give a warm welcome and I'm sure would help most attentively if you had any kind of problem or needed any advice. They genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. You can leave your bags prior to proper check-in if you arrive early, and leave them once you have checked out. All staff at the hotel are multi-lingual and charming, the hotel's recruitment policy must be perfect. Special mention for two areas: breakfast is served by a couple of gentlemen who are super-professional; utterly charming, flipping from one language to another, they serve breakfast with an efficiency that is a joy to watch. Second, the bar is the making of the place. Essentially, it is where you have breakfast but I believe you could sit there in the daytime and read while having tea. In the evening, it is a delightful setting for drinks served by a very friendly, always smiling, barman who is just perfect at his job. All in all, a great hotel with a personal and friendly atmosphere.
